Here is a little about me, I'm from Korea, graduated in Japan, working in America. Also,I'm an outgoing person. I like cooking, painting and watching movies. I really would like to meet new students who interested in Asian culture and people who would like to share their life styles and hobbies. Hope to meet you soon!

I can say to my students that we will have fun, interesting classes that cover culture, formality, pronunciation, and more. I was inspired to become a Korean teacher by my love of Hanguel (Korean language), and I want to help people who want to learn about it.

If you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson, I need to be notified 24 hours in advance. If you ask to change after this 24-hour period I will have to charge you the full price of the lesson. This same rule applies if you are over 15 minutes late and you have not contacted me beforehand. I adjust my life and schedule around these lessons, so please understand why I need to be strict about this type of situation.

➫ Over the course of 7 years, I have taught English at a cram school, secondary school, and one-to-one tutor sessions in Korea. During my graduate school, I was a teaching assistant for colleges. I checked the college students’ homework and gave them feedback. I am very familiar with online learning technology and homework review.

My lessons are basically in Korean. So, I will try to speak Korean as much as possible. But, I still teach in English. My lesson plans are very ✪ personalized. I teach ages 15 and up.

I'm a native Korean speaker who grew up in Seoul, South Korea all the way through college. I'm currently a doctoral student majoring in voice in the US. With over 10 years of experience teaching voice and piano to students of various levels. With my background, I can help with your Korean pronunciation, speaking, and listening skills. My name is Myung, and I am a native Korean speaker. I graduated from Ewha Women's University with a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Literature.

I obtained a master’s degree in TESOL and Linguistics at West Virginia University in 2020. I have teaching experience in English, Korean, and Chinese between ages 5 to 15, as well as adults including college students. I worked as the Vice Headmaster in the Korean Language School of State College, PA for five years.
While my degree is in linguistics, I am a Tamarack artist, and I am a juried member in the West Virginia Watercolor Society (WVWS).

From personal experience as a nonnative speaker, I understand why students have difficulties in learning English or Korean, and I know how to teach language in a fun and effective way, so that language-learning can be a pleasant experience for students.
