d many others. She has been producing music and vocals in the recording studio, coaching voice, piano, songwriting, rap writing, performance, studio, jazz, blues, classical, pop and artist development for the past 20 years. She was operatically trained by Juilliard instructor Sylvia Bagley, trained as a jazz singer at world re-known Berklee College of Music, where she won several songwriting awards, and was R & B/Pop trained by Vocal Coach To The Stars, Seth Riggs. In 2010 she had a #6 Billboard hit dance song, which she wrote and sang and 2 top 10 hits in 2016. She has written, recorded and performed songs in several different languages for a variety of films, television shows, and commercials such as Nickelodeon's Hollywood Heights, The Natalee Holloway Story, Spike Lee Productions, Barbie, Ponds, Target, Ford, Mazda, Pontiac, The Guiding Light, The Young and The Restless. MTV and several others. Fawn has also sung, written and played in many different styles from Jazz/Blues to Classical to Pop to children's to Opera.

Fawn is a very fun, yet honest and straight-forward coach. She loves working with adults and children, and considers lessons a 'team effort to reach her students' goals. Being that music and the entertainment business are her career and life, she is current and relevant, yet has plenty of old school training to be well rounded and help students build a strong foundation. Music and the entertainment business are her life, and she loves helping people reach their goals and meet their dreams. She has released 5 albums, several singles, won numerous awards and worked with such talents as Grammy winners Lalah Hathaway and Paula Cole, Meredith Brooks, Vampire Diaries Kat Grahm, BT, Jeff Goldblum, Right Said Fred, Ed Townsend, QD3, Club Nuveau's Val Watson, Robbie Benson and shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Carol Channing, Kevin Sorbo, Pink, Joss Stone, David Guetta, Katy Perry, Moby, Dionne Warwick, James Torme', David Foster, Thelma Houston, David Pomeranz, War and countless others. Over the years, Fawn has been known to bring students into her inner circle, so they can gain more experience and exposure, taking them to red carpets, events and even putting them up onstage to perform. She remembers having piano, voice and songwriting coaches, and being frustrated in voice because instructors were not addressing issues that needed to be addressed. This is why she creates a positive and comfortable, safe environment so students can open up and progress quickly. Fawn moves straight to the heart of the matter and gets whatever needs work figured out, so students can move on to what their goals and dreams are. She has helped actors be able to sing parts for their TV shows, helped popular bands be able to have good stage performances and presence with precision dancing and singing and has helped vocalists find their true voice. She is able to get piano students as young as 5 to a high-level Concerto level of playing with in 3 years, completely reading the pieces on their own. Fawn is amazing. I have been studying with her for two years and I'm so glad I found her. She is a flexible, competent, positive, and high-energy person and always brightens my day.

It doesn't take her long to figure out problem areas in technique and begin the process for change. I've been steadily improving since the very first lesson and the whole time I've been studying with her and am constantly surprised each time I do a little better or have an epiphany about something I've been trying to achieve for a while. Fawn is a natural teacher and knows a number of tricks and explanations to help clarify concepts and can very easily switch approaches if she thinks something else will work better.

Fawn knows a broad repertoire of music and is great at recommending songs that fit my voice and my skill level. She is patient and is willing to set the pace as fast or as slow as you need to feel comfortable with a piece.

Fawn makes it easy to relax and not feel self-conscious. Lessons are fun, but also expect to work hard. If you want extra challenges and opportunities to sing and get feedback, Fawn is the coach for you.

Overall, I've had nothing but good experiences singing with Fawn.

David is amazing! I came to him as a beginner in January, and within a few months he introduced me to methods of acting, taught me the business side, developed monologue & scene work, AND he helped me find, pick, and breakdown two monologues for my school auditions. (I got into all three schools and was given an audition based scholarship for one - so yeah, he’s pretty good)

He’s fun, flexible, and genuinely cares about his students’ success. Super happy with my decision :)

I have been literally to 4 youtube teachers and though I have nothing bad to say about any of them, i know that I need a long term teacher that I can see myself growing with as a singer. Our personalities just meshed. She knows how to make one feel comfortable. She is very encouraging to students with zero self confidence like me. I think I have found the teacher I’ve been looking for in Elena! i’m excited to see what she can do to transform my voice. Her resume as well as her reviews( students spoke highly of her character) are what stood out for me out of thousands of teachers online! It is also important that I love to listen to my teacher’s voice and i love her voice😊

In this class you will learn how to utilize your different resonators in your mouth to create different sounds. You will learn how to articulate properly, speak with clear diction, utilize your breath, and add an honest character out of each voice we create. Let’s find how many voices we can make together!

About Sarah
Hello and Welcome!
My name is Sarah and I am honored you have chosen to look at my profile. Finding the right teacher is so important! I graduated from Lees-McRae College in May 2017 with a BFA in musical theater and a minor in art and design. I know at a glance it may be overwhelming how many classes I teach. You see as Musical Theatre Major I had to learn all about dance, makeup, singing, acting, and all of the sub categories that go with it; not to mention with my minor in art and design I know my way around with a paint brush. Art, in all forms are has always been my way of expressing, feeling, and embracing life. I took an internship at the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre and I had to learn ALL aspects of theatre and work with kids every day.

I was training American Sign Language at Northern Virginia Community College b
ack in 2012. In 2015 I studied under an ASL master from Gallaudet University. I have continued to further my knowledge of ASL every day. I was recently the ASL captain at work who helped make sure all signs were done correctly and expressed properly.

My goal is to help you learn what you are craving to know! I try to not charge too high for lessons, I know that this is something that is for fun and is not always a possibility so I try to keep it at a lowish price so that everyone has a chance to learn. I am very flexible to schedules. I am willing to have a regular time or switching it up weekly; I have students who travel for a living so they are always on a different time zone; no matter the obstacle I will make it work for you!
Something that is great to know about me is that I never stop training, pursuing growth and knowledge. I read books in these various fields to learn more and more, take master classes, and train with my own vocal coaches. I think art - on any platform, is a great way to get out of your head, free your mind, and open up yourself. So this can be for professional training, a hobby you always wanted to pursue, or a dream you wanted to chase after.

In my class with you, or you child, I will make an individualized lesson plan that focus around what skills you already have, what skills you aim to improve/gain, and how you learn. I am very familiar with the fact that we are ALL different, which means we will all learn DIFFERENTLY. I am willing to explain something in as many ways as one needs in order to understand. I like to think of my lessons as a “safe place” to explore, have fun, grow, and be okay with making mistakes. We will always start with the basics, understand the core of the craft - for example in singing that would be our vocal anatomy and how it all connects together. I use props to help make the concept more visual and graspable as well as diagrams. This is not something someone will pick up in one lesson, so don’t come in saying “I can’t”, you can, you just have to learn HOW. I will show you the how. Remember, this is a learning process, we must embrace each step of our growth.
-----
Some background of how I came to do what I do:
I have been working professionally for theatres for five years now; which has had me living in various towns in NC, OH, AR, and traveling nationwide for tours. I have a lot of experience under my belt for my years. I began taking performance classes as young as age 2 when I started ballet, then I began singing in choir in third grade. I started being in awe of sign language when I saw an interpreter working her magic around age ten and I asked my mom for a sign language book. Expanding my knowledge is what I do for fun, so when you pick me you pick someone who is constantly growing and learning more which will ultimately benefit the student.

I teach a variety of classes that, for the most part, circle around the arts! Some of my classes include but are not limited to: Acting, Child Acting, Improv Audition Prep, Various styles of “Singing” classes, Ear Training, Musical Theatre, Music Performance, Various “Art” classes, Facial Exercises (Which is great for singers, and those who speak a lot day to day to help relieve tension in the face), and more!
For an explanation on each class, I will be recording a video that describes them and posting that on here soon! There is a video trailer of me singing and dancing that is currently available. If you want to know anything more at all please do not hesitate to send me a message and I will respond as quickly as I possibly can!

Detailed work in projection, color, and timbre of voice.

About Ian
Hey there, my name is Ian.
I'm a musician, performer and teacher from Wisconsin, based in New York, who studies voice at Queens College. Have taken coachings for years in voice acting/voice over work. I've studied many different acting and singing styles with a number of notable stage directors, conductors, and other performers. I perform regularly around the Queens and Brooklyn area.

My performance credits include lead roles in operas by Mozart and Stravinsky; and musicals such as "Forever Plaid" and "Fiddler on the Roof".

I have spent years working on voice over/voice acting, and can show the right way to round out and project your voice for radio or stage work!

Work with the Suzuki method for violin/viola, as well as other methods such as John Thompson for piano for children.

I'm excellent with children and adults alik
e, having spent years developing skills teaching and performing to the highest standards, all my students are pushed to be the best possible!
Am comfortable teaching anyone, from beginners to coaching professionals!

Acting is such a broad term! What are your goals? Do you want to be in films? Do you want to do Shakespeare? Do you want to be in a sit com? Depending upon what your interests are and where you want to go, we will build a plan together. My philosophy on acting techniques is that they are tools to help you, not tests you pass if you're a good actor and fail if you're a bad one. Different techniques work for different people and it is our job to find out what inspires you.

I've worked as a professional actor for many years, performed on Broadway, have my MFA in Performing Arts, and my BA in Arts and Education. I was an assistant director to Tony-winner Sharon Ott and have written and produced my own work. I have experience in both stage and camera acting, which have specific technical differences, but are both a lot of fun once you get used to the medium. Audition technique, preparing monologues, and creating promotional materials are also things I can help with. Anyone who wants to ...

About Rebecca
I have worked professionally as a singer and actor for over twelve years, having performed on Broadway in Lincoln Center's Tony-winning Revival of "South Pacific" with Paulo Szot, Laura Osnes, and Danny Burstein and toured the country with Rob McClure and Anika Larson in the First National Tour of "Avenue Q." I have an MFA in Performing Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design, graduated summa cum laude, and was the only female recipient of the Presidential Scholarship for Vocal Performance. My BA is in Arts and Education from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. I'm currently signed with Roth and Associates East.

Over 90% of my career is from attending open calls, including finding representation and my Broadway debut.

My granddaughter was so delighted with the entire process. I feel this will help her vocals and boost her confidence level. When you're 13 it can be a difficult age. My granddaughter felt very very comfortable and at ease..thanks to Rebecca!
