both a capable mathematician and a great pedagogue. His grasp of the material was consistently nothing short of remarkable. In the classroom his questions made our professors and classmates penetrate the covered topics even deeper, shedding light on their hidden aspects. Often I was under the impression that he could do a better job teaching these classes than our professors. Both a strong mathematician and a pleasant person to work with Jeff seems to me a perfect teacher who can give a lot to his students. I can highly recommend him to anyone interested in learning mathematics.

Joseph taught my son a few difficult topics in honors Precalculus. In 2 hours my son went from knowing nothing, to understanding the topics fully. Joseph is an expert in this field and was able to clearly and patiently explain everything that my son did not know. We used him multiple times including the following year for AP Calculus. We highly recommend him!

Very recently, I worked extensively for Colorado Mountain College as a Calculus 1, PreCalc, and Trig tutor, which helped me gain critical experience. Also, I am currently working at the University of Colorado Boulder as a Calculus and Algebra Tutor. I will make sure that the student can complete a wide range of problems pertaining to the subject matter without any help. My skills extend past just being able to effectively teach the material as I can help a student with testing and their overall approach to the class. Overall, I am excited to harmonize my expertise in effective

As an engineer, I use calculus on a daily basis to solve problems, and this includes multivariable and vector calculus. Taking a calculus course and knowing the steps to solve a derivative or integral is one thing, but applying calculus concepts to problems in engineering and physics (i.e. biomechanics or fluid mechanics) is the true mark of understanding calculus something I've learned how to do over many years of applying what I learned in my calculus courses. Sure, calculus can be a challenging subject at times, but with a focus on geometric representations, attaining a solid understanding of the concepts is well within reach, and that is the way I approach the subject with my students. For example, I don't just show you how to analytically solve an integral, I show you what an integral is, and what the solution means. When you understand calculus on this level, you'll be able to work through any of the curve ball questions your teacher might throw in on an exam.
