I use Quizlet for vocabulary and my students have access to all the materials on line through Google Drive. I am currently a full time French teacher at Slippery Rock Area High school and available to teach online after school and weekends.
I am certified in Arabic, French and BCIT ( Business. Computer and Technology) and taught all 3 in the Mount Lebanon School district in Pittsburgh, PA for 8 years before becoming the full time French Teacher at the SlipperyRock Area High School starting in August 2017, my current employment. After school and on weekends I tutor French and Arabic online and my students range from ages 6 to adult. I tailor my lessons to the needs of every student. I create materials and use whatever is necessary to make sure my students enjoy, learn and excel in the subject they are learning. In the summer I also work at Kindercare with the school age group for the summer camp activities.

I am fluent in Arabic. I came up with a way to teach Arabic for children combining everyday language with the classic Arabic that most children find difficult. I am familiar with the different Arabic regions dialects and can determine how to start the learning process depending on the students interests and their needs to learn this language. Children will also learn how to speak, read and write . Our sessions will depend on conversations more than boring grammar rules that most children don't like. In addition, the student will learn about the culture of the different regions. I traveled and lived in several countries and very familiar with the traditions and the heritage. Sessions will be personalized depending on each individual's interest. I can also teach the different Arabic dialects and I can teach the Middle Eastern cuisine. The Arabic culture is very rich and my online sessions will be a one of a kind experience.
My name is Laila. I am a mother of four children ages 22,20,18&13. I have BS in Computer Science and MA in Accounting. In addition, I am a reading therapist . I run an online reading clinic for dyslexic students to help them with their literacy struggles.
I'm bilingual English/Arabic, and while I was raising up my children, I gave them Arabic private lessons for many years. They never liked the traditional methods their tutors used. Because of my experience with teaching children and my fluency in both languages, I came up with an interesting way of teaching children the language through fun activities, conversations, books, apps and many more. Learning Arabic will not be boring, but rather fun and easy.
Laila has been wonderful! She has been teaching my children, 4 and 6. She is very patient and makes the lessons age appropriate and fun! I like to sit with them and learn too! I am so happy that we have found her and highly recommend her.
