I have been a Substitute Teacher for the Charles County Public Schools since September 2018. I started working with Grade 1and 2. During the second half of the year, I began to substitute for the 3's, Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Grade 1. It wasn't until the second half of the year, I started to enjoy helping children one on one in the Special Education Program. This is where I could concentrate on one or a small group of students who needed extra help with their classwork. I specialize in Reading, Reading Comprehensive, and Writing up to Grades 2. My students have told me that I am patience, I make learning fun, and I am very creative teaching the children at their learning pace.

Kesley is absolutely amazing! She is so patient and creative. My daughter struggled so much with reading. Now she is a confident reader and is near the top of her class in both reading and math. Additionally, my daughter struggled with some behavior problems. Kesley was firm but kind and helped her behave not only during tutoring session, but also in school.

We are also foster parents with kids of all ages coming and going all the time. Kesley has worked with almost all of them and helped them get caught up in school. If there was something higher than 5 stars, I would give it to Kesley. You could not find a better tutor.

Awesome tutor! Breaks down concepts to make it easily digestible and works with your schedule. He gives you great tips that you can't learn from a book. He is very laid back and that helps with the crazy chaos of MCAT studying. Overall, well rounded in the subjects of the MCAT and would work with him again in the future if I needed. Aalok Shah's in depth knowledge of admission testing, coupled with his easy demeanor, made all the difference for our son as he prepped for the college process. In addition to advising our son on the proper material to study, Aalok taught him to strategically tackle each section and manage his question answering time accordingly.
