Sarah is great. My son starts his flute at his school in 4th grade. After three weeks 30 minutes group lesson, he came home with tears saying that he didn’t get any help from the school teacher. We found Sarah. After the first online class, my son instantly likes her. She helped him to catch up the music notes from school first. After two lessons, Sarah helps him gained his confidence and basic skills. Then she recommends extra books that will be more attractive.

Sarah is very organized and easily to communicate with. We had couple questions. She responds quickly either in text message and email.

We are very happy with her and highly recommend.

My goal as a wellness practitioner is to facilitate individual and community wellness through empowering my students and clients in their own paths towards healing. As a Yoga Therapist, I recognize how radically different yoga and healing practices look for each individual based on their unique body, conditioning, personality, and constitution.

My personal journey into yoga, meditation, and healing practices began early on in my youth through the influence of my yogi father. Over time, these practices have become a part of who I am. Yoga has created long-lasting wakefulness, stillness, and resiliency into my body, mind, and spirit. The practices have profoundly uplifted my life, and inspired me to help others to apply them.

My group classes, workshops, and retreats are designed as guided journeys of self-discovery intended to bring
more balance, harmony, and peace of mind into my students’ lives. My teaching is strongly rooted in the Kripalu and Yoga Therapy traditions.

In Yoga Therapy sessions, we will explore a wide variety of healing modalities suited to your individual needs and wellness goals, whether they are physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual. These sessions are designed to cultivate deep relaxation, increased body awareness, self-acceptance, and peace of mind.

Upon deciding to begin Yoga Therapy with Kaity Rose, you will be given an intake questionnaire to complete for Kaity to gain a larger understanding of your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual goals. Based on this intake process, a yoga class is created specifically for you. Your first session will typically last 90 minutes for further intake.

After your initial assessment, you will practice a personalized session with your Yoga Therapist. You are welcome to record your session to practice again at home. Your personal protocol will be written up, in most cases, for ease in taking the practice home. Results are dependent on your commitment to practice the techniques daily. Expected practice time is approximately 20 minutes/day.

The following techniques may be used, dependent on what you and your Yoga Therapist deem fit:

- Postural Alignment and Movement Dynamics
- Myofascial Ball-Work
- Ayurveda
- Breath Work
- Meditation
- Yoga Nidra

Yoga Therapy does not replace your doctor’s advice. However, Yoga Therapy is extremely complementary to Western medical advice.

I love the down-to-earth approach and peaceful energy Kaity brings to the classroom! As a 52 year old woman with only a little expereince with yoga, I find Kaity's teachings totally approachable and non-intimidating. I always leave her class feeling powerfully renewed! Kaity teaches for ALL body types, ALL genders and ALL ages! I definitely don't feel like I don't fit in or can't keep up. She definitely knows her stuff and really seems to care about each and every student. She's the real thing!

Kaity did an amazing job holding space for me to get into a rhythm with my poses. She provided a very well formed balance between guiding me into a deep practice and allowing me to have space and silence. She is professional, nurturing and understands the dynamics of yoga at an advance level. I am not very flexible so she was able to give me adjustments that are safe for my body type but still stretch me at the same time. She also has a great mindful presence that added to the depth of the practice... Definitely going to do more sessions with her.

One of my clients was moving and traveling around quite a bit, and he wanted help getting a solid workout regimen that was safe for his shoulder injury. PLUS he wanted to learn how to speak Chinese Mandarin through our workouts! Needless to say, this has been quite the fun and challenging mission for BOTH of us – he has improved significantly in endurance, body mass composition, and his new language skills – all while keeping his shoulder safe.

My favorite exercise is…
The vinyasa series in yoga (plank, chaturanga, upward-facing dog, downward-facing dog): it is so good for the entire body in terms of building strength, stamina and flexibility! I always try to include at least a few of these in each workout (maybe as part of the dynamic warm-up of a bootcamp class, and definitely as part of my yoga flows). It helps mobilize the spine, warm up the shoulders and hamstrings, activate the core, and center your focus.
