I am a certified instructor of the Royal Academy of Dance in London, England. I have been a ballet instructor for over 20 years and I am the Artistic Director of the Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet.

My name is Steve and I offer Private Online Dance Lessons. I specialize in teaching beginners and I enjoy watching my students progress quickly and meet their goals. If you have always wanted to learn a specific type of dance but never knew where to start then I think my services would be a perfect fit for you. A little about me. I started dancing in 2003. I connected with dancers from the DMV which led me to Breakdance practices at College Park, UMBC, JHU and more. As I got better and more skilled local crews began to take notice. I was inducted into The Deadly Venoms Crew "DVC" in 2010. The entire time training as a BBoy i was also learning and picking up other HH styles such as House, Krump and Popping. One was just not enough for me. Experienced teacher with 15+ years of professional experience in the dance industry. All ages welcome. Willy specializes in contemporary ballet, but also teaches an array of dance genres. He offers classical training for contemporary and ballroom dancers, and classical dancers contemporary training. A classical understanding of ballet technique is fundamental to Willy's approach of all dancers and their interests. His style is defined by his physicality of movement, including the expression and joy that dance brings. Willy's impressive career and global experiences inform his approach to movement. He is passionate about coaching young, hard working talents. Willy is known for honing in on a dancers unique potential through a positive and encouraging one on one experience. Each student will leave feeling inspired and fulfilled, physically and artistically.

I have been dancing since I was in high school, so a total of 11 years. There is a lot that can be mastered in 11 years than one thinks. I currently still am a dancer today. I danced for a dance company and have danced for a competitive company called C8 here in Los Angeles. I am currently doing field work to expand on Pedagogy for a dance curriculum in schools... I am glad to share more if interested. I currently teach kids in middle school. I love teaching Hip Hip, Jazz, Ballet, locking, fusion, and improvised dance. Don't be shy, LETS DANCE!!
