Quinton works primarily with beginner to intermediate students putting an emphasis on grammar in a fun and interactive way. After living in South Korea for two years Quint realized that grammar structure was one of the main sticking points that made learning Korean so difficult for English speakers. As a result he uses these practices to help students take their language study to an entirely new level. 
Quinton has studied multiple languages ranging from Portuguese and Spanish to Mandarin, Korean and Vietnamese. As a native English speaker himself Quint has learned skills and techniques to explain Grammar in a simple yet relatable way for other English speakers. Quint’s philosophy is that the most effective way to learn a language is to have fun with it by talking about the things that spark your interest rather than dry lessons that can cause you to lose interest.

I have taught English to Koreans back in Seoul for more than 8 years, so I know exactly how different these two languages are.

Based on this understanding of how I need to approach non-Korean speaker especially whose mother tongue is English, I am confident that I can let you start studying Korean the easiest way and make the class fun with lots of introduction of Korean cultures and history.

I am native Korean and my home town is Korea. I have experience teaching korean to foreign students. If you are interested in traveling to Korea or in K- culture such as kpop or kdrama, I could provide curriculum based on that. We will start with how to read and write the Korean alphabet and learn how to speak simple korean phrases.
