About Kelvin

I am a highly organized, outcome-driven and motivated professional musician and educator with solid experience in the classroom. For the past 25 years, I have been employed with Amati music academy and seven years on the faculty of University of St Francis.
I am very comfortable with all aspects of the current music syllabus, including teaching musical concepts (such as duration, pitch, dynamics, tone color, texture and structure) as well as performance, composition. I am fully qualified, with a Bachelor of Education in Music, Double Masters in music performance and education from University of Nottingham.
I am proficient in classical, jazz and Celtic fiddle violin and possess solid skills in piano (grade 8-13) Royal conservatory system.
Throughout my teaching career, I have been driven to help students achieve their very best. I str

ongly believe that music has the power to change lives – to enhance the social, cultural and spiritual lives of people, and serve as a profound medium of personal expression. Professional perform experience: The Chicago, Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson, Three tours with Moody Blues, YoYo Ma etc....
The most important thing I look for in a student is communication skills, as well as talent. I like to nurture students and help identify their individual strengths, which is a key factor in shaping a musical persona that will make its mark both on and offstage. I do not advocate a uniform technique for all students. Physical differences and learning styles are always taken into consideration. Potential is as important to me as early achievements and experience. My goal is to help students become self-sufficient, discriminating artists. I discuss practice techniques often and develop individualized scale routines. I encourage initiative and expressive musicality as well as precision. Above all, music needs to bring obvious joy to the student, regardless of the difficulties.”

About Aaron

Hi there, my name is Aaron and I specialize in online bridge lessons.

I have played bridge since I was a teenager (20+ years), and have played well over 1 million hands over this time period. I am continually honing my own game via Bridgebase.com (handle = aceman34), arguably the best teaching tool out there.

I generally prefer online lessons because I find my students are more engaged and focused. I have a unique teaching process that I use to help unlock your greatest talents.

Often, the first thing I do each morning is to play a few hands of bridge with my coffee. I look forward to teaching you the secrets of winning bridge, whether you are just starting out or farther along in your journey.

Aaron has been teaching my 9 year old son chess lessons. After several months with a weekly lesson, my wife and I are very pleased with his progress. At first we had our doubts about whether online classes would work. The truth is that we are very satisfied because the use of technology added interest for my son in learning. Aaron is very patient and makes the lessons enjoyable, with some humor. He has a teaching method that combines strategy and theory with a love for the game. That is the magic of learning and is the key to advance one's knowledge of any discipline. Now we play more and more competitive matches and his progress is very noticeable. We also appreciate Aaron's feedback about how each lesson went and tips to work on during the week to reinforce what was learned.

About Felicia

I learned to sew in Vacation Bible School at my church when I was in 7th grade. I made my first pair of overalls and was on top of the world. That began my love of sewing and all things crafty. Today I love working as a special education teacher. But my first love is teaching beginner and intermediate level sewing to kids and adults. I have two children (1 in college and 1 in 10th grade) and when I'm not working or sewing I help my husband at his sports training facility.

My Crafty Table Sewing and Craft Studio teaches children how to use math skills to sew. All of our "leveled" projects are connected to national learning standards and offers a wide range of opportunities for all ability levels for kids 10 years old and up. Our local classes uses a children's sewing curriculum, while our online classes uses commercial patterns. Stud

ents learn hand and machine sewing, sewing vocabulary and techniques, and various equipment and and safety usage. We host a small, friendly, relaxed setting which is what I find allows children to have the courage to explore, make mistakes, and discover their talents.

My Crafty Table isn't just for kids! I welcome adults who are looking to learn to sew or enhance their current skills. Whether you are looking to create something to wear or something to beautify your home, we can teach you how to bring your ideas to reality. Our online and live classes utilize commercial patterns, sewing machines, and a variety of supplies based on projects being completed. We guide you every step of the way from selecting materials to recommending supplies. The only question you need to answer now is: SEW what"s next?

I just want to say, "I am very pleased working with Thomas." I never thought that I could master the game of chess especially by being impatient and a slower learner. This is my fourth lesson and I have already played a game of chess. Thank You So Much, Thomas. I can't wait until my next lessons.

About Angela

I learned to crochet in grade school, taught myself to knit and learned to sew from my mother at a very early age. Teaching grade school children/students is my passion. I believe learning to knit and sew can help students learn a level of patience and persistence that will help them in their school work.
In October, I retook and passed the NCLEX, and I have restored my nursing license to active status. I would love to tutor nursing students of all levels. My professional background is in Pediatrics - especially Pediatric Critical Care. I'm especially passionate about helping nursing students that need help with basic math/algebra.

"I've had the pleasure to take quite a few lessons with Dan & I do not regret any of them. From the first time we've met at the pool hall he gave me a few
simple tips & I saw a dramatic increase in my game. He has worked together amongst the pros & also has many years involved in the world of billiards. Everytime I meet with him I learn something new and bring back home some new techniques to practice which are vital to the game. He has taught me the basic fundamentals & stroke mechanics in which I had struggled with. He provides great feedback & is overall one of the best around with tons of experience. Any time I have questions or concerns I can reach out to him with no problem. Dan always delievers! It is always a pleasure working with Dan, he is very flexible, great on communication, reasonable & has the patience to teach to anyone! If you want to improve your game or have a general interest in pocket billiards / pool Daniel is your guy to reach out to. I am one of his current student's & he has not failed me. Dan always has a great demeanour & is full of knowledge on & off the table. Call or email him now you won't regret it."
