"Stella is a wonderful teacher. What I had been unable to teach myself, she taught me in no time. Patient, thorough, funny, interactive and did I say pat

About Brianna
Hi, I'm Bri! I'm a graduate of North Central College with a BA in Music (Emphasis in Composition and Percussion) and a minor in History. I absolutely love music, every single aspect of it. I love to make music a part of everybody's lives who want and need it. I want to help you with your musical needs. I have been playing percussion for 19 years, singing for 25, and playing piano for 20 years. I was a member of a recording and performing Chicago band, Oblio and Arrow, where I provided backing vocals and helped with the song arrangements. I am currently a member of Trip City Lights, an LA local funk/soul band, where I provide lead and backing vocals. I also record vocals for different artists hooks, jingles, choruses, and songs (covers and originals). I have also composed/arranged various pieces for ensembles, bands, vocal groups, choirs,
plays, musicals, commercials, etc. I've worked with folks locally in LA, and all over the world. I love what I do!
History has always fascinated me. The way our world has developed and changed and continues to evolve is amazing. Everything can be tied back to the past, and I feel it's important to take a look back, put yourself in that time, and really study how things were to help understand why things are the way they are now.
Crocheting and knitting are a couple of good habits/hobbies I picked up about 10 years ago. I sell scarves online and I'm always working on some sort of project. I will have you knitting and pearling with the best of them!
Music, history, crochet, and knitting....I'm your girl!

I have worked in Animation for over 20 years, from traditional 2D animation to computer, initially in Canada, in Montreal, more precisely. In '97, I was hired by the Walt Disney Animation Studio to train their animators on the computer. I taught computer animation software, mainly Maya, and Photoshop to hundreds of talented artists here in Burbank. I was also creating and writing teaching materials, so I am well versed in Word, and Illustrator.

I really enjoy teaching, and after years of teaching animation software, I craved teaching something more hands-on, and I have been enjoying teaching sewing and fashion design. It is rewarding to pass on a skill that used to be taught from generation to generation, but that less and less people are learning nowadays.
Whether it is for a hobby, to decorate your house, to prepare for design school, or to make your own clothes, I can teach you from the very basic sewing skills, to more advance topics such as modifying your patterns to make clothes that fit.

Hello! My name is Karla and I love all things artsy and crafty. I learned to sew when I was 9 and have been improving my skills since then by taking classes or just trying things out on my own. I'm currently taking classes to get certified as a Pattern Maker, which is another passion of mine linked to the fashion industry. I've also spent the last year and a half building my Etsy shop for custom designed clothing for women and children. Since I also have my degree in Theater and Dance I enjoy being a freelance costume designer for dance or theater companies; creating custom designs for their shows.

I grew up in Los Angeles surrounded by a family of artists and designers. Following my career in fashion and costume design, I began making one of a kind silver jewelry. I have been working with fine silver for 8 years, selling my design pieces in art galleries and online.
I have always tried to share my passion for all things artistic with my two children. By volunteering to run art projects at their school, I discovered the joy of teaching. I decided to combine that with my sewing expertise to help children and adults realize their creative vision. I like helping students explore their ideas while making a project come to life on the sewing machine.

About Ainslie
I am an intuitive, Jungian-based astrologer. A life-long yoga practitioner, I presently run a yoga nonprofit. Daily meditation is essential to me. I had my astrology chart done on a whim in the early 90's and immediately became enthralled with the art.
I began my daily blog, featuring Street Art from around the World, in April of 2013. I published two of my novels, written in the late 90's, this year as well. With an MA in counseling Psychology, and a PhD in Philosophy and Religion, I bring a psychological and philosophical perspective to my work. My PhD, from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, concentrated on symbol systems and Jungian Psychology. With over twenty five years experience in astrological counseling, I impart a unique, artistic vision, to my workshops and readings.

She makes learning astrology easier because she breaks the subject matter down into simpler terms. She makes learning astrology fun because she is a brilliant storyteller.
I maintain my own astrology website, but I continue to educate myself about Astrology. When I need another lesson, I contact Dr. Faust. And I refer all of my friends to her as well.
She would be a tremendous asset to any organization.

Hey! My name is Allegra and I am looking for students who would like to learn how to knit. When I was 5, my grandmother (who is an amazing knitter) helped me make my first scarf. Though the scarf was far from perfect, I distinctly remember how accomplished I felt. Now I would love to share that feeling with others just as my grandmother did for me. Since my first scarf, I have gone onto more advanced projects such as cowls, blankets, beanies, and sweaters. I would love to teach students of any age and help them work through any beginner project of their choosing. I am also willing to help those who know how to knit follow more advanced patterns and learn new knitting techniques. Thanks for reading! :)
