Hello! I love teaching sewing because it is such a lost art. I offer basic sewing skills, how to read patterns, apply zippers, and pattern construction if you want to learn how to bring your own design to life. I teach all ages but especially enjoy teaching kids to give them something productive to do besides scrolling on their phone. I offer ¨sewcials¨ where adults can come together, enjoy a glass of wine, sew, and enjoy conversation. I am very adaptable and understand that ever student has their own needs.

About Jacquelyne

My name is Jacquelyne Robinson and I consider myself a Fashionista. I started sewing at the age of 10 when I made an apron for Mothers Day in my Girl Scout troop and ever since then I have been in love with making clothes. I decided to pursue my dream and went to Georgia Southern University and majo

Hasaan is a very patient teacher--which is definitely a requirement for online sewing/pattern making lessons. We worked on my bodice sloper, and he was able to quickly identify the fitting issues I had. He shares best practices, tips, and terminology all throughout the lesson so that you learn as much as possible. Will continue with him.
Lauren Stein
I had a tight time schedule to finish a summer project before I went in for surgery and Hasaan was very sensitive to that. He was able to teach me new skills in pattern making and cutting that made the process easier/ more accurate as well as sewing techniques. I would say my experience with him was very positive and he was always cheerful and and in a great mood and helped me out a lot with my project. I would definitely recommend using him for lessons.

Lily is an awesome teacher. She has a great sense of humor, which really helps when I’m feeling frustrated with myself. I’m really slow and she’s incredibly patient. She’s very flexible too. I’m thoroughly enjoying my classes. I’ve been taking classes for about 11 weeks. It’s wonderful to have a total break from the world for an hour every week, and it helps to have homework too. I highly recommend Lily.
Peggy
I am a true novice. Lily was perfect for me. Her instructions were very clear and she showed me how to figure out the very basics of sewing and when my stitch wasn't right she figured it out and had me correct things on my machine that weren't set right. Loved her!

Terry is professional and experienced. Pleasant environment.

The teacher was knowledgeable about all aspects of sewing and was able to tell me how to finish off one of my projects that I brought with. It was a jacket and skirt. I needed help mostly with the jacket and mainly understanding the finishing instructions for the jacket. I sewed some in the hour during the lesson and then Terry showed me on the instructions what to do at home. She then asked me to bring a new sewing project that we could start together when I come in two weeks. I would highly recommend Terry to any level of sewer wanting lessons. She is also a very kind lady as well.

Terry is very attentive and detailed, I enjoyed my time with her and I look forward to learning from her more.

Sewing at Home: 3 Easy Sewing Projects for Children

The energy that my first time sewing students bring to the very first class is wonderful. They are so excited about the creative possibilities that learning to sew will bring them. Often this excitement is tempered by the fear of using a sewing machine. I start by encouraging them to do some easy sewing projects for children, so they can get comfortable with using a sewing machine. It is also a great way to learn some very basic sewing skills. The following projects are quite simple, quick and u …
