I use a variety of books for each of my students customized to their experience and goals. From theory, scales, and technique, to sight-reading and various repertoire, I ensure a well-rounded foundation for their musicianship.

About Beth
In May 2011, I graduated from Texas Woman's University with my Bachelor's Degree in Music and a minor in Business Management. Music has been my passion since before I started taking piano lessons in third grade and there was an innate desire to master the keys. At age fifteen, I taught myself how to play guitar and started writing songs. In 2013, I became a published songwriter when my songs were produced on my church's Christmas Album ("Who Is This King?").

I have been teaching private piano lessons part-time from my home in Colleyville for seven years, and have instructed over 140 students. My students range from young beginners to intermediate and advanced students, to beginner and moderate adults. Teaching is my greatest passion, whether it's of the classical genre, theory mastery, or equipping a student to use their gifts in worsh
ip. I have been blessed to be teaching full-time since January 2017, and it has been a dream come true to be able to invest all my time and energy into the precious gifts of my students.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions and I will be happy to discuss. I believe with you that you'll find just the right instructor to impart to your family!

I enjoy helping students realize their dreams! While I consider it important that the student keeps up with their assigned lesson book and written theory, I consider songs chosen by the students as an integral part of the learning process.

About Regina
Hello! My name is Regina and I am passionate about teaching music!
I have been teaching private lessons since 2012 and love helping my students grow in ability and confidence! I went to the University of South Carolina and earned a Bachelors in Music Education, where I majored in piano and minored in trumpet. I also have earned a Masters in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from Columbia International University (in conjunction with USC).
I believe that each student is unique and should be treated as such, both in the setting of achievable goals and the speed at which information is learned. No two student is the same, but each is a musician in his or her own right!
I look forward to helping you reach your music learning goals!

I have been playing piano since I was four years old, and I completely fell in love with it. The more I began to play, the more my passion for piano grew. I gave up lessons after nine years because I fully believed that I had reached my limit in lessons and wanted to begin teaching myself the rest of the way. I am currently a Sophomore at UGA, and if my location is chosen we get to work in the practice rooms here on campus that are soundproof. My goal is to teach beginners of all ages the basics of learning to read the music, the chords, and basic finger exercises. I want to share my passion and inspire others to love the instrument that I do. If you think you are too old to start learning piano, my dad was forty-five years old when I started to teach him! For children under the age of ten years old, I recommend between 30 and 45 minutes per lesson due to their short attention span, and that I don't want them to view piano as a chore that they must do. For adults I recommend anywhere ...

About Jordan
My name is Jordan Barker and I a student at UGA currently majoring in Advertising and minoring in studio art. I have been playing piano since I was four years old and haven't stopped since. I taught my dad how to play piano, and I have experience teaching other children as well. I work well with people of all ages! Learning an instrument at a younger age is one of the best things that anyone can do, because it helps develop self-discipline and patience skills and is scientifically proven to improve your math and science skills! I can attest to this because math has always been my favorite subject, and my best classes. Since music is it's own language, it also helps you absorb new languages in the future. Of course I still am open to teaching adults! My dad was just forty-five years young when he decided he wanted to learn how to play pian
o, He started learning a few years back and now he can play Claire De Lune, which is an extremely difficult song to learn. My goal is to help teach you the notes and symbols first, and how to count all the beats in the measures. While learning beginning songs I will also be teaching chords as well ( depending on younger children, I may wait to teach them chords until I feel they have fully grasped the subject ). I require that your own books be purchased, but I will let you know which books are best, and you can buy them used off of Amazon! It is extremely important to me that you gain a passion for piano, and have the skills to learn and practice on your own. I know that with free lessons online it seems ridiculous to pay someone to teach you piano, but no one can beat a personal connection that will inspire you to play for the rest of your life. I am open to any questions, so please feel free to message me :)
