Awesome tutor! Breaks down concepts to make it easily digestible and works with your schedule. He gives you great tips that you can't learn from a book. He is very laid back and that helps with the crazy chaos of MCAT studying. Overall, well rounded in the subjects of the MCAT and would work with him again in the future if I needed. I would defintely recommend him for future MCAT test takers.

Aalok Shah's in depth knowledge of admission testing, coupled with his easy demeanor, made all the difference for our son as he prepped for the college process. In addition to advising our son on the proper material to study, Aalok taught him to strategically tackle each section and manage his question answering time accordingly. He set up realistic weekly goals for our son to meet as well as providing many study guides and materials for his reference. We found Aalok’s advice on college planning extremely useful and he was always readily available to answer any questions that we had. Aalok’s calm and encouraging personality eased the stress surrounding standardized testing. This fall, our son will join the Rutgers University inaugural Honors College Class of 2019 with a full tuition, room & board scholarship worth $102,400. We are extremely grateful to Aalok for the integral role he played in making this happen. We cannot recommend Aalok highly enough to any family who is embarking on the college pathway.

Hi! I take a fundamentally different approach to teaching mathematics compared to many math teachers and professors. That's because a lot of my math experience comes math competitions and olympiads, rather than classwork. I qualified for the American Invitational Math Exam four times during high school, and I also tied for 4th place on the B-level Geometry portion of the 2016 Princeton University Math Competition.

While memorization and tricks might get you past a school exam, they won't get you very far on these competitions. Instead, you need to have a deep and fundamental understanding of the subject matter. You also need the ability to figure out how to pick apart and attack completely new types of problems that you haven't ever seen the likes of.

These two abilities are what I truly care about instilling in my students. That's why, strangely, when I tutor, my objective is to give as little information about the subject matter as possible. Instead, I try to lead the student ...

Morgan's the best math tutor I've ever got. He's super detail-oriented and very, extremely patient in his way of explaining the approaches to you. If you ever feel like you didn't quite get the idea behind a solution that was given to you, I'd suggest talk it over with him and he'd make sure to relay things to you in the simplest, easiest way to understand possible. He's truly passionate when it comes to math, so he tries and makes math a fun thing to learn for you!

"I has reached out Rod at the point in which I resigned and I was expecting to get "B" in my statistics class. I was not confident and constantly struggled in responding to the test questions because I was not sure of concepts. Rod explained me concepts step by step in a very simple way also, by drawing the graphs and that everything was clear for me as visual person. He was able to answered and explained all my questions that I was well prepared and confident on my final exam. Thanks to him I gained the necessary knowledge and I ended with "A"."

"Kawin is an awesome tutor. I was taking a Stats class at NYU, and I was struggling a lot. He was able help me understand the concepts. He also taught me how to identify key words that would help me select the correct equations to solve the problems. I don't think I would have passed the class without his help. I got a "B" in the class, and it sure felt like an "A"!"

"Kawin is amazing!! I took statistics at NYU and really struggled starting off. Kawin explains everything in the most simple, understandable way. Truly helped me understand the material rather than simply know how to do questions/take tests. Really a great tutor and helped me so much. Finished the class with a solid A thanks to him!"
