I have played piano since I was five-years-old. I had an amazing teacher who was always engaging and fun -- I strive to be like her with my students. I generally use Alfred or Bastian Methods to start out and then adjust according to my students' needs. I encourage daily practice and always am willing to consult with parents of younger students on how to implement this. I also love to encourage my students to chose music they'd like to learn!

About Becca

I am a friendly, outgoing, and passionate music teacher! I play the harp and piano and absolutely love to spread the joy of music. I started playing the harp because my grandmother was a harpist and I thought it was the most beautiful instrument. After all these years, I still love the amazing soun

Was skeptical of virtual lessons, but Alex is making it work. He's been great with my son, quick to respond, answering all our emails, texts and kept my wife and I in the loop. Very pleased so far.

I really enjoyed my experience taking voice lessons from Alex! I learned something new every lesson and was given the opportunity to sing some of my favorite songs along with some that were less familiar. Alex helped me with many audition pieces and made sure I was prepared and confident before going into every audition. He made every lesson fun and I would definitely recommend taking lessons from him!

Teacher for two years experienced in beginner to intermediate students. I generally start my classes by seeing what the students will benefit the most and start helping the student increase their ability to play the piano using a variety of exercises and having them choose a piece of their choice to work on. If the student wants to learn more than just piano, I'm also a composer that can help them understand more about music and beyond the instrument itself.

About Juan

I am a film and media composer and piano performer who's been teaching piano for over 5 years. I began learning piano when I was 9 years old, and taught classically. I teach piano classically, using traditional methods such as the Beyer, the Hannon, using a variety of exercises while learning a p

Piano lessons are strictly for beginners or for students who have little to no training. The first few lessons are dedicated to learning the proper playing technique and practicing several exercises to increase the hand’s coordination, flexibility, and mobility. Once the proper technique has been established we move on to Suzuki method and a series of Etudes catered to the student’s learning needs.

About Alethia

Growing up I was raised in a home full of music. My father, a graduate of the Conservatorio Nacional Superior de Musica (National conservatory of Superior Music) played piano day and night and from there my love for music blossomed. My first experience with music was at the age of 8 when I began to

Alethia is great. She is working with my 7 yr. old daughter as a beginner in violin. She teaches in a way that is fun, appropriate, and respectful. My daughter has already learned so much and looks forward to her lessons with Alethia each week.

Alethia is very knowledgeable about technique and skilled at teaching.
Mark N.
Alethia is a very talented teacher and violinist. She is extremely professional, attentive and accommodating to her students needs/goals. As an older student with no musical background, she has made the violin less intimidating and more accessible by breaking it down and making it less complex and easier to understand. While, I've only been with her a few years, I'm very proud of the progress I've made with her. If you are interested in taking up the violin, I highly recommend her.

About Keith

I've been playing and teaching piano for over 20 years. I have performed classical piano at NYC's Steinway Hall, I've played in the orchestras for countless musicals in and around New York City, and I have even performed a Liberace tribute in Las Vegas. As a performer, I love all music. My favo

My 9 yo son is reading music and playing classical music on the piano. He is more focused in school and well behaved. I definitely recommend Keith for piano lessons.
Monica
I'm an adult student and I get frustrated very quickly when I cannot do something. Mr. L. is great bout assigning me music that is challenging enough for me to learn something new, but I'm still able to play it without pulling my hair out. Honestly, I would have never believed that I could learn to play as well as I do now. I'm no concert pianist, but I'm very happy with what I can do.
Rachel
I have both of my kids in piano lessons with Keith. They look forward to their lessons and they practice without being asked. They didn't do that with their last teacher. Keith keeps them engaged and laughing and having a great time while they learn. Highly recommended.

Shannon is an excellent teacher. She makes the lessons fun. She helps the student feel confident in their abilities. Shannon encourages the student to meet the challenges they face. She understands each of her student's strengths and challenges and develops individualized lessons to meet their needs. She helps students feel comfortable during her lessons and makes sure they can practice independently with confidence. She hosts recitals so her students have chance to show off their skills and socialize with each other. I would highly recommend Shannon as a piano teacher."
