Hi welcome to my statistics course. My name is Tai and I’ll be your mentor. My role is to guide you through the course and help you hone the skills you need to achieve your goals. We can start off the first mentor session getting to know a little more about your background and mine and diving into a background on statistics and data science and any questions you have about the curriculum. At a high level, I am passionate about data and love using tools like Python and R to understand the world around me better. Introduction to Statistics follows through some Algebraic understandings and develops a concept for statistical methods using concepts from previous mathematics courses. Advanced courses in statistics include using programming languages to hone statistical methods to activate a new skillset in analyzing data for Stock Markets, Crypto Currency, Data Harnessing, and any other practical use of statistics all over the web.
