Experienced teacher of Trigonometry available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of skills. I typically use books, and also have the tools available to use during lessons.

I have taught 100+ math students in all levels, 1st grade through college graduates in trigonometry, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus and standardized test math (ACT, SAT, GMAT, GRE) I have turned D's and F's into B's and A's. Let me show you how successful you or your child can be!

Experienced, professional and patient tutor! My name is Junia. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Central Florida (UCF). In college, I was in the Dean’s and President lists. I also had an honor scholarship which shows that I am driven by success at high standards. I hold an Advanced National Tutor Certificate. I have tutored many students in math, ESOL, and science over the past 10 years across all age groups with a very high success rate. My goals as a tutor are to offer an excellent and targeted learning which addresses specific learning challenges that the student is currently facing, to equip students with exam preparation strategies, and help them learn techniques that enable them to achieve and succeed in their subjects. I am very patient and attentive to the needs of the students so that they can attain their goals. My role as a tutor is to make learning enjoyable. I always keep my students engage in the learning process. I do everything I can to make learning a pleasant experience. I am willing to go the extra miles when students ask for additional help and clarification. If a lesson is not cancelled, yet the student fails to show up within the first 15 minutes of the lesson, a no-show fee of 100% of that lesson will be kept. However, I completely understand that sometimes there may be an emergency. If this is the case, I am happy to reschedule the lesson for a later time if there is calendar availability, as long as the student messages me 24 hours prior to the scheduled session.

Trigonometry is one of the most applicable, and most fun (yes, fun!) branches of mathematics. Working with me, I will guide you to a deeper understanding of trigonometric functions, right triangle trigonometry, graphing trig functions, trig identities, solving trigonometric equations, the law of sines and law of cosines, and polar coordinates.

There is a code to remembering the Unit Circle. And establishing Trigonometric Identities is much more about the mastery of algebraic skills.

Mathematics has been lost in translation in todays educational institution and this is obvious with new Common Core Strategies. My experience has shown that when educating an individual, the less layers of complexity and the more pure conceptual math, the better and more dynamic the understanding. My lessons in all Mathematical courses include multiple perspective views of any topic, a visual, a auditory, and kinesthetic practice for finalization. This has been a successful practice in teaching all levels of educated individuals for the last 12+ years.
