About Rene
Knowing at the age of 5 that music was my life, by being brought up surrounded by praise music and gospel, my early exposure to music helped me to find every Instrument and style just my thing! I wanted to play everything and learn all aspects of music. I started with singing in the children's choir and then developed into piano and music theory. At the age of 12 I began to learn classical guitar, and at 15 took on various styles like Flamenco, Jazz and Rock. I graduated from High School having played in the school band achieving recognition In national Institutions Like IAJE (International Association for Jazz Education) and state band finals. I was also composing from a very early age, and at 18 released my first album (self-titled) which can still be heard and purchased today through various music outlets, since i have released over 15
albums with various ensembles and bands. In college I already knew from my previous experience that I wanted to teach and pass on the joy that music brought to my life. I studied Music Theory and Jazz and finished my degree in Music Education. I have been teaching all in all for about 14 yrs. And I have enjoyed every minute I have spent with my students learning as much from them, as them from me. I am looking forward to meeting new and eager students who really want to bring their inner music out to share with the rest of us music aficionados! and develop their skills to the peak of their abilities.

*** Lesson Details ***
My teaching method ranges depending on the student. I believe in my experience that everyone learns differently, therefore everyone develops at their own pace. I try to find key strengths in each student and expose this to their advantage, using their abilities to further develop their skills, this method has shown the most promising results and students usually find themselves playing and performing just a couple of months after their first lessons. Part of my method involves a lot of performance and recital opportunities to help break any fears and inhibitions a student may bring with them. Music is about sharing, so an early exposure to this method helps to strengthen and stabilize a core acceptance of a students style and path, giving them and those close to them a very clear picture of their development and achievements.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Has all instruments at both his home and college studio

*** Travel Equipment ***
I provide lesson material, song charts and a progression scale. I require student to have an Instrument and recommended technique literature.

*** Specialties ***
My classical training began in High School with Influences in Segovia, and Romero I studied classical for 4 yrs. and trained in Jazz and Improvisation with performances In Big Band and group ensemble. Also sang and played in the school gospel choir.

****Personal Statement*****

If you needed a reason

There is no question that music touches us instantly and activates images, emotions and memories that linger with us throughout our lives. As a casual listener or an obsessive music elitist, there are times in our lives when we get blown away by a sound so unique our entire body vibrates and resonates with the touch of something out of this world. I can honestly say when this happens to me I feel as close to a spiritual connection than anything I have experienced otherwise. I believe it is these exact events that have triggered my need to be completely involved in the making, performing and consuming of music. The creative process, to me, is the single obvious reason we exist in this world. We create and share, learn and interpret, build on previous ideas and inspire others to perfect upon this process. It is no doubt a very humbling experience to realize you are part of it all. During this process you come to realize how important you are as an Individual, how there is no other vessel like you in this world, nor has there ever been or ever will. You are here now and your voice, your talent, your gift is an instrument to the great choir of the human spirit. No one but you can relate this, a reason to be, to create, to give.

Don has drawn so much out of him musically and has also built a community of students that play together. He makes the lessons fun and engaging. Learning to read is a great experience, when it all goes well...but what if you have a learning disability? What if you can't learn like other people around you? This is why I picked online schools myself; I didn't learn the way other people learned from books or taking tests. When I teach someone something, they are the one doing the tasks, my explanations are in a self discovery methodology where the student plods through until they hit that road block...we look at how that occurs to make the learning process stop...once evaluated for each person the learning can begin!

About Gayle
I can take clients from 4 to 99 !

The focus has changed considerably as we have opened up a brick and mortar home school for our granddaughter of which I am headmaster.

We are asking friends and family, and parents to help with the construction which will be swift, and completed quickly!

MAKE A SUMMER BOOK AT HOME! Video coming soon!

Summer Classes are available to book now! Art, Music, Environmental Awareness (Bugs, birds, squirrels, sounds in your neighborhood). Personal Awareness of others; teaching children how not to hurt other people feelings by examples that regard age appropriate answers.

This is good for my online students, in that there will be a camera feed directly into the classroom. Once you have followed the process to secure me as your instructor, you will receive the URL to that private video link and
join our classroom.

This will be especially exciting for special needs children that do not get to leave home to go to school; our grand daughter will in fact have to leave the house to travel to the converted garage in which the school is located. This short trip excites and engages her in her day and the path it takes. Many may think "what is the point," cognitive abilities have a wide range of needs that must be met for a person to progress through life.

As for people like our grand daughter there must be a higher standard, we make the mark very high so she can have all the choices at her finger tips even if she can't implement them herself she deserves the opportunity to HEAR, and TOUCH her way through life.

Understanding what is said is cognitive achievement!
Following directions is cognitive achievement (even if there is a delay in response)
Repeating actions day to day and after a lapse of time [is"cognitive recall" or cognitive memory] event or actions are reintroduced, student is then responding to that "recall."

I believe all people in any state should be stimulated and engaged to learn or be taught something daily.

For more information on how join the home school for special needs individuals, please book a class in the near future and give your child or grandchild the opportunity to join a classroom with classmates to grow IN TO FRIENDS!

ASK a QUESTION!!

Kind Regards,

Gayle Williams

I am pretty new at computers so Gayle has given me hope there is a place for an older person being able to navigate the Windows operating systems. and these smart phones.

I think her style of teaching or tutoring, is impeccable-never once did she let on I didn't know what I was doing. She made me feel comfortable and was up-front what I needed to do and allowed me to do it myself. I learn best if I do things myself.

She has given me a way to do basic Windows actions, email, internet and most important of all access Netflix!

I highly recommend Gayle for any of the classes she teaches. Computers are not my strong area- but with Gayle's help now I can help my veteran buddies get on the VA sites and conduct business. I can help other apply for jobs and navigate a resume and basic things we all should know now no matter how old we get.

Good going Gayle!

As your tutor I will maintain commitment, show you respect and spend time customizing lesson plans for you that are interesting as well as informative. I will expect only the best from you and I will not give up on you.

As a small busines owner working in the sales industry, communication is paramount. For this reason, my colleague suggested I take elocution lessons to help with my accent, and recommended someone who had helped him. Initially I was reluctant to call, but am thrilled I did. Charmaine was a Godsend. She was very tentative, patient, and easy to work with. Thanks to her lessons, not only is my accent gone, my clients are more receptive, and sales numbers have improved dramatically. I would highly recommend her services anyone!

I have worked with children ages 2 to 12 for over 7 years. Also, open to working with other ages.I have also tutored children in reading and learned how to work with each child individually. Children need a special sort of stimulation to learn properly and I am able to provide to your child.

About Tempest
All students have intelligence and are capable of learning. It is all about the approach we take to get your child to excel and become more knowledgeable.

While working at Right Start Early Childhood Center as a teacher, I had the pleasure of working with children for over 7 years. I also learned what is required for children to learn and grow in all areas (physically, socially, and emotionally). The position required continuous training which kept me up to date on how to interact with ages 2 to 12.

In addition, I had the opportunity to tutor children. My first tutoring experience was with Lindenwood Elementary as a volunteer. While at this position, I guided a kindergardener to increase their alphabet recognition, vocabulary and also helped with some handwriting.

In 2016, I also had the pleasure of helping a child go from E
to C in reading and writing in only two months. I created a individualized plan just for his specific needs.

Your child/student has the intelligence, we just have to find a way to help it shine through.

I am a Special Education teacher and understand the high demands within the public school to reach a certain level of reading. I recently had a student in 3rd grade come in at a level A and leave on a level J.

I don't just sit and read words and stories. We interact by playing games, use technology and incorporate the child's interests in the lesson.

About Jennifer
I am a teacher and I have taught students from the age of 3-12. I don't like to just sit and have a child's head in a book the whole time. I like to make things fun. I incorporate your interests in the lesson, we play games, us technology and at times will have to use a book here and there.
