This is a great lesson study for anyone who wants to sing(experienced or not).
Beginners would learn to approach their voices as instruments through breathing and use of their diaphragm. All classes would develop their ears through special exercises and harmony. More advanced singers the emphasis would be on stylings and nuances. I also try to develop them as an artist. All lessons are customized to the prospective students in addition to being a lot of fun. I've been teaching voice for about 15 years now.

About Paul

I am a musician who has played in many bands. My primary instrument is piano and voice. I also play rhythm guitar. My current group is a "Who" tribute band, performing a complete history of the rock group, The Who. Please check out our website magicbustour.com I play by ear but also read music.

I have been teaching and singing professionally for over 25 years. In the lesson, I always start with warm-up vocalizing. Then, we work on songs, depending on the student and type of voice and interest; and always including music theory, the foundation. Each student is unique; so I customize the lessons and repertoire to suit each student. Even if someone cannot match pitch, I have had great success. We work on improving tone and expanding range as well as song interpretation.

About Amber

I am an experienced, enthusiastic music instructor, who started playing piano around 8 years of age and participated in many musical activities. I received my Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Massachusetts, majoring in Music Education (voice and piano). I have appeared around th

Amber was very knowledgeable. I took some free Youtube tutorials lessons but was not able to tell if I did everything correctly. Amber pointed out when I blew out too much air and showed me how to do it right. I look forward to have more lessons with her.

Jordan is very knowledgeable and a good teacher. You can find good guitar players that will show you how to play guitar, but Jordan is much more than that and can instruct even veteran players on how to improve their play.

Great Instruction for all levels

I am in my mid-thirties and have never had any formal musical instruction until I started taking lessons with Jordan a few months ago. I was a little nervous about starting the lessons, but Jordan made me very comfortable right away. You definitely can tell he knows music inside and out. He is also very helpful about incorporating just enough music theory into each lesson, so I can expand my knowledge of theory, but not so much that I get overwhelmed. I would definitely recommend Jordan to anyone looking for a great vocal or guitar instructor.

Singing Tips: How to Sing Into a Microphone

As a vocalist, there are many core techniques to learn in order to excel at your craft. From proper breathing and support to tone, range, and pitch, mastering the art of singing takes practice and dedication. One of the singing tips that is frequently overlooked is microphone technique. All of your hard work can be undone if you’re not comfortable with microphone technique. The moment you sing into a microphone your acoustic voice becomes an electric instrument.
