This is a great lesson study for anyone who wants to sing(experienced or not).
Beginners would learn to approach their voices as instruments through breathing and use of their diaphragm. All classes would develop their ears through special exercises and harmony. More advanced singers the emphasis would be on stylings and nuances. I also try to develop them as an artist. All lessons are customized to the prospective students in addition to being a lot of fun. I've been teaching voice for about 15 years now.

I have been a choir teacher for 3 years and I have a huge passion for singing! As a band kid that went to college playing a wind instrument (who also had very little interest in becoming a better singer), I was shocked to find just how much joy teaching others to sing brought me. Additionally, and I cannot stress this enough, I believe that EVERYONE can sing. Popular shows like "American Idol" or "America's Got Talent" would have you believe that singing is a talent that only a lucky few are born with. However, I am here to tell you that, just like any other instrument or worthwhile skill in life, singing takes practice! The more you dedicate yourself to practicing, the more you will grow. Simple as that! With that said, I am searching for eager students who wish to strengthen their vocal abilities! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of technical ability and excellent musicianship. Hopefully I'll be singing with ...

Hi! I was born and raised in Soviet Union, where I studied piano since I was 5 years old. I am a native Russian speaker, a classical pianist, singer and professional educator. I received my degree in piano performance and pedagogy in 1992, and have been teaching since then. I have lived (and taught) all over the world, and I love what I do. I love teaching, and have a extensive experience (over 20 years) teaching music, piano and singing. I can conduct lessons in English, Russian or Spanish. I place great importance on cultivating passion for learning and music in my students, as learning with passion is the key to excellence.

My love of singing began in my freshman year of high school, when I joined the choir. It was a life-changing experience, and inspired me to make music my career. I immediately began taking private voice lessons, and became a voice teacher myself by 2005. While in college, I was presented with many opportunities to learn and grow, both as a musician and as a teacher. I sang in several different collegiate choirs, and was nominated to be in the all-collegiate choir in 2007. I also passed yearly auditions to sing in Voices Only, Lindenwood's most advanced vocal group. During my junior and senior years at Lindenwood, I worked as the assistant director of Voices Only. This was a wonderful opportunity, and I learned so much while leading warm-ups every day, running sectionals on a weekly basis, directing the group during rehearsals and even during performances when the director was away. I currently sing in the Saint Louis Harmony Chorus, one of the top 25 women's barbershop choruses in the
