Piano Lessons in Shreveport. Amazing Teachers.

I am a professional pianist with a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the Juilliard School, and currently working on my Doctoral of Musical Arts at Manhattan School of Music. I have worked with several world-renowned pianists including Robert McDonald, Horacio Gutierrez, and Haesun Paik. Their influence not only helped me develop as a pianist but also taught me how to teach and showed me the impact of truly masterful teacher can have on their students.

I serve as a piano faculty member at Bronx Conservatory of Music and Lindeblad School of Music, in addition to teaching private students. I have taught students at varying levels of experience and from varying backgrounds, ranging from 4-year-old to adult. Some of them had their very first piano lesson with me and others are promising concert pianists at Juilliard pre-college.

Beginning students: learn piano fundamentals with Faber Piano Adventures + supplementary material that I provide

Intermediate students: learn your favorite songs and learn how to write your own songs

Students will learn the basics to piano while having fun. Depending on the student’s interests we will work on either classical or rhythm piano. We will learn how to read the music, scales and how to play many songs.

I've taught lessons and performed in Louisiana, Texas and Massachusetts for the past 15 years. My students vary from beginners to advanced and always come back amazed at the ease in which they learn. I also teach music theory, music history, voice (singing) and guitar. For Piano lesson I teach using the Faber My First Piano Adventure and Faber Piano Adventures line of books.

Classically trained pianist. I've been playing for over 20 years. I've mostly studied Classical but very familiar with the Pop format.

For Advanced Students:

1. Everything in Intermediate but with more intense strict enforcement.
2. Continued Music Theory and Concepts
3. Connecting with the music (Playing With Emotion and the right Intention)
