Is Czech an easy language to learn?
This is a tricky question to answer because it depends on what you already know about the language. If you’re familiar with other Slavic languages, you’ll likely have an easier time learning Czech than someone with no prior knowledge. The Czech language does have some complex rules and challenging pronunciations, so it’s best to learn with a private tutor who can ensure you’re picking up all the right habits.
When you sign up for Czech lessons, your tutor will be committed to making it as easy as possible to learn this language. Whether you’re starting with beginner lessons or more advanced sessions, you’ll receive the tools you need to work your way toward fluency.
How long will it take to learn Czech?
How long it takes to learn depends on what you already know about the Czech language or similar Slavic languages. That said, the Foreign Service Institute reports that it will take 44 weeks or 1,100 hours to learn basic, conversational Czech. Of course, to get to this point, you must study and practice the language on a regular basis.
We recommend signing up for Czech lessons if you want to put yourself on the fastest track toward mastering this language. These sessions allow you to work one-on-one with a private tutor who will give you individualized attention and create customized lesson plans to help you progress.
