I have 7 years of teaching experience.

I learned classical piano from the age of five, flute at the age of nine, and later joined the orchestra. I have been singing since I was 17 and have been in the music industry for 10 years. From the age of 5 to the present, I has been walking on the music road without stopping for a day.

The fields cover classical piano, funk & pop style, music theory, ear training , sight-singing , songwriting, arrangement teaching, scoring ,film score, vocal. My teaching purpose is not traditional. I hope my students can freely use their musical talents under my guidance and help students find their own music position.

The piano is a wonderful instrument with an incredibly versatile range of abilities. In piano lessons, I'll provide guidance on the key aspects of playing the piano: interpreting a piece of music accurately and with artistic expressiveness, improving technical ability, learning methods for efficient fingering and effective pedaling technique, developing greater control over emphasis, dynamics, and timing. If you are a beginner and aren't sure what all those things mean or if they would apply to you, that's fine too. I also offer introductory instruction on how to read music and get started playing the piano.

I offer instruction in many styles ranging from classical to jazz to rock to really almost anything. I also offer lessons in variety of musical topics: composition, songwriting, improvisation, ear training, music theory, arranging, and music production (technology). If you are interested, please check out the information on these other subjects by clicking on the link at the ...

"Great mentor and teacher for all levels

Chuch is a great teacher and I recommend him wholeheartedly. I have been mentoring under him for over 6-months and I feel I made the right choice. He has customized my lessons to my needs, level and skills and has been very flexible with the learning lessons themselves. He is very knowledgeable and able to help me through all my issues. I am difficult to work with, generally speaking and as I am stubborn-bad habits at play here, but he was able to find the right approach for me and I have made great progress since I've started given I have had limited-to-no-time to practice at home at times.

I am over 30, so it goes to show that even older dogs can be led to learn new things, given they have the right teacher and approach.

Absolutely recommended!"

"I love Fawn! She's a great piano and voice teacher. My daughter started piano with her at 5 1/2 years old, and I was so thrilled at how Fawn was patient with my daughter's wandering interest. She works within my daughter's personality which makes it so much easier for my daughter. I feel Fawn really tries every angle to interest the kids, even using the iPad to guide kids through rhythmic games. My daughter also started improving immensely in her reading and writing at school once she had started piano lessons. It really was quite profound - and true what the studies say about music lessons improving academic performance! We just started doing vocal lessons and I love Fawn's individual approach. Speaking with Fawn, I can say I am completely taken with her enthusiasm and supportive attitude towards the kids and their musical development. I drive out of my way to take lessons at her studio, but she is worth it! On occasion we have done online, and that works fine too. Don't hesitate to go with Fawn! You'll be so happy you did!"

"Brent is a talented musician and makes learning fun. His style is tuned to the student’s level and ability. Our daughter (now 10) has been taking lessons on and off for 3-4 years and reads music, composes her own music and enjoys playing (not so much practicing...) I highly recommend Brent for learning in a traditional tailored mixed with jazz inspired love of chords and improvisation."

"Jonathan is a great teacher, and very patient with me. I decided to take lessons as a hobby for retirement and wanted to learn a little about jazz and blues. Jonathan taught me the basics and then picked a few songs and doesn't leave the song until you feel pretty comfortable playing the melody, accompaniment and even some soloing. I looks forward to all of my lessons"
