I've been teaching in the Louisville area for nearly 8 years and have worked with over 125 clients for over 7,000 lessons. I'm fun, relaxed, and able to adjust to your particular needs. I've worked with students of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

Whether you're an absolute beginner or a seasoned expert in need of some fine tuning, I'll carefully evaluate your strengths and weakness and create a lesson plan suited to your individual learning style, interests and needs. We'll discuss where you'd like to go with music, and I'll help you get there! After 3 or 6 months with me, you'll learn the musical foundations of rhythm, ear training, posture, technique, music theory and performance, and a few of your favorite songs!

I have been teaching Singing for about 10 years. My lessons involve warm ups, exercises, and technique to start the lessons. I like to get to know my students and once we determine what we are working on, we choose songs together that they would like to work on. We set up a plan or what they would like to work towards and create a vision together. My teaching style is laid back within structure and creative! I like to help students find their own individual voice and style.

About Rose
I graduated from the University of South Florida where I received my BA in Theatre performance & Communication with a minor in Dance. In 2011 I finished studying Music Recording at St. Petersburg College, where I focused on Singing/Songwriting. I trained at NYU with the Aquila acting company in classical theatre, and I also trained with TVI Acting studios in Los Angeles in Film and television.

My Music and Performance experience started when I was 6 singing in choir, school productions, and taking piano lessons. I continued on with group ensembles, musical theatre shows and later on touring with the Spanish Lyric Theatre in Both English and Spanish in throughout Florida after college.

I have been teaching one on one and group lessons for 15 years in various subjects, Including Music, Dance, Theatre, Academic Tutoring (Eleme
ntary/Middle School subjects: English, Writing, Reading, Math, Social Studies, Reading, Writing, Learning Skills, Civics, French, and test preparations), and Culinary Lessons.

*** Lesson Details ***
I like the combination of relaxed and goal oriented. I like to get to know my students and learn about about expectations and goals they have for themselves. Then I set up a plan that will help them achieve their goals and get them closer to what they want from their lessons. I take into consideration their interest, style, and help them to find their unique learning style.

I do have some guidelines for parents and students. If the student is a minor, I ask that the parent be in the house for the lesson. I also ask that the lesson be performed in the Living room or Music Space.

About Natalie
Hi, everyone!

I'm so excited to be in Music City! I just moved to Nashville from New York City where I worked with Broadway performers and kids auditioning for some of the most competitive performance schools in the country. I'm confident I can help you achieve your music goals, whether they be learning to produce a powerful, resonate, healthy sound with your voice, becoming proficient in piano from everything from Bach to Billy Joel, or writing clear, catchy songs that will have a big impact on an audience.

Please check out my bio below and feel free to ask me any questions about lessons with the "Ask a Question" button.

Hope to be working with you very soon!

I start every lesson with vocal warm-ups. Then we learn different techniques to increase range, posture, and breathing. I can make song recommends and we work on songs that the student wants to learn. I set up video for my students to see and hear themselves. I accompany the student on either the piano or the guitar.

About Melody
My musical experience began at the age of 4 on the piano. I have been classically trained for most of my life. I have performed on soundtracks, played with bands (in genres from Jazz to Metal), and accompanied choirs. I have taught intro to piano and music theory since the age of 15. Currently, I teach throughout the Dallas metroplex, play in several bands, as well as write music for Television and Film.

I see music as a language. Once it is mastered, it can be shared with anyone, anywhere. My goal as an instructor is to provide my students with an opportunity to discover their own musical potentials. From breaking the ice from playing for the very first time, to perfecting even the most structured and difficult pieces, I feel there are no limits. I feel comfortable teaching in any genre and always tailor my classes to match my studen
ts own individual learning style. In my lessons, I highlight important principles right from the start, such as posture, proper fingering, and rhythm training, to ensure no bad habits form that later are hard to break. As we become more confident in our playing, we transfer some of the traits contained within us. Those traits become the character and style of our "musical speech," which will help to define us as musicians. I recommend books and provide sheet music when we start learning songs. Learning music with me has been said by many of my students as, "the most fun they have ever had playing music."

In addition to music, I teach science in the subjects of Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology. I have my 200 hr yoga teaching certification and teach private class to aid people in living a healthy, fulfilling life.

Thanks again for reading my profile. Hope to meet you soon.

I've been working with Amber for a few months now and she's great! I played for 10 years when I was younger and wanted a teacher who could get me back up to speed, which she has. She gives great tips for practicing difficult spots; is easy going but also not afraid to correct you and is versatile in all types of music (I was used to only learning classical). She's tailors her teaching to how you want to play, whether it's for fun or more seriously. I also appreciate that she is flexible around my constantly changing work schedule. I highly recommend Amber!

In our voice lessons, We learn to breath correctly to support the voice while releasing tension in the throat and jaw - we also learn about resonance, projection, articulation and diction - with performance polish and characterization for each piece we work on. Students who don't know how to sight sing/read music or have no ear training will also learn to do so in our lessons. We have a wonderful time and release the most beautiful voice possible.

About Cynthia
I have been teaching all levels, styles and ages since 1999. My students are award winners, have gone on to major in voice performance in conservatories, and have performed at major theaters, opera houses, children's shows and telecasts. I am comfortable teaching any age and level. Lessons are fun and productive, with instant improvements in technique!

Bekah is a great teacher. She gives specific instructions on how to improve my vocal quality & technic, and the best part is that she gives beautiful aural examples from her own, rich voice. She also describes her expectations through very visual terms, which help me greatly to try to improve, and she paces the lesson very well. I would highly recommend her.

Learning to sing with Bekah was one of my favorite experiences ever. I'd not been singing for quite some time and she was excellent at not only helping me with my musicianship but able to help me understand what/why we were doing what we were doing, which at the end of the day helps one to become the best musical version of themselves! She helped me prep for auditions and get into some auditioned singing groups. Highly recommend!
