About Natalie
Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, at the age of 9, Natalie knew music was something that was just a part of who she was. Writing songs on the piano before lessons could be scheduled, Natalie found herself immersed in a medium that would bring her joy for the rest of her life.

By age 14 Natalie had won several trophies competing in Classical piano with the Illinois Music Association.

As an adult, she would go on to fill her life with the world of music as a singer, songwriter, performer and recording artist.

Graduating from Elmhurst College (1997) with a Bachelor's in Music, Natalie received high accolades earning a membership in the Lambda Sigma Psi Music Honor Society.

During her college years, Natalie created and owned a local music publication called, "The Local Buzz". At this moment she had discovered her
desire to teach. "I just wanted everyone I knew in music to know and use what I was learning, or had learned from the music classes, professionals I had been meeting and working with, and my overall music life experiences". By 1997, Natalie was signed to an independent label and embarked on a new adventure.

"Music is an adventure, but without the foundation and passion I had as a child, I would have never landed where I did. I truly LOVE to teach and share what I know about piano, and the world of music. Music is what I know, and know best. Helping to create a solid foundation and build confidence in someone embarking on a journey in music is the most rewarding profession I have ever had the honor of participating in."

*** Lesson Details ***
Natalie enjoys teaching students of any age, but specializes in piano, voice and beginning guitar, tailoring lessons to each individual's goals and reasons for learning whether it be for personal pleasure or professional performance.

Keeping things lighthearted and fun, Natalie breathes confidence into each student using her sense of humor, and down-to-earth personality.

Feeding off 40 years of personal and professional experiences, Natalie patiently listens to the student's desires, needs and notates their learning patterns, allowing for growth at their own pace.

Natalie's goal is to Make Music Matter to you and create a foundation that will allow you to continue to find joy in making music for the rest of your life.

I have been teaching math for several years now and understand the need for a good foundation. I work with students to find any concepts they have missed or do not fully understand. My goal in teaching math is always comprehension not grades. After laying a good foundation, it is amazing to see the improvement and success my students have had!

About Benjamin
I have extensively studied vocal performance for many years and continue to add to my own technique. I have a Master of Vocal Performance Degree from the Chicago College of Performing Arts. I currently work for a recording studio (Sound Summit Studios in Naperville IL) where I teach voice and help singers record their music in the studio. I have previously taught at The School of Rock in Indianapolis Indiana. I have administered vocal lessons to every voice type at all different levels. Several of my students have recored albums and are currently performing all over the U.S.

I have a bachelors degree in biology with a minor in art. After graduating college, I was a full-time high school biology teacher, volleyball coach, and director of the school musical. As a high school teacher, I learned first hand the kind of pressure and expectat
ions that are placed on students in order for them to succeed. In college, I was the head student researcher on a two-year lab project. I took several upper level science courses including: biochemistry, calculus, organic chemistry, calculus based physics, cell biology, anatomy, and physiology. I studied marine biology in the Virgin Islands and am CPR certified.

*** Lesson Details ***
Voice lessons with me are fun and effective. You can expect to hear improved technique from day one, eventually reaching your long term goals. I begin every lesson aligning the students voice through various vocal warm ups and exercises. We then work together to pick repertoire that will suit the singer'€™s voice and they will enjoy singing. During a lesson we will also cover performance presentation, acting, diction, rhythm, musicality, style, and interpretation.

During tutoring you can expect a personalized plan based on your goals and aspirations. Since every student is different you can be assured we will come up with a plan that is designed just for you. I am a laid back tutor but will be sure to get the most out of you after our time together. Most students see at least a one letter grade improvement. My main goal for every tutoring session is student learning and comprehension.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Piano, recording equipment, large collection of sheet music

*** Specialties ***
I specialize in helping students find their true singing voice.

I have taught over 30 math students at all levels, elementary through high school and college, algebra 1 and 2, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus and standardized test math (ACT, SAT, GRE, GMAT, ASVAB, GED).

I have turned D's and F's into B's and A's. Let me show you how successful you or your child can be!

About Matthew
Dear Parents and Students,

May I be a personal tutor for you or your child? I have been successfully tutoring for over 12 years. I have great references, and I am one of the top tutors because I am so easy to work with. I teach in person, or via TakeLessons classroom, telephone, Skype, FaceTime, Google Hangouts, Join.me, Appear.in, Screenhero (remote desktop, screen sharing) interactive whiteboards, as well as email attachments (PDF, Word, Excel, etc.) I graduated with honors, Summa Cum Laude from Case Western Reserve University, where I made the Dean's List. I also earned a Provost Academic Scholarship for my excellent test scores, including 34 in ACT mathematics and 780 in SAT mathematics.

In addition to teaching for Cleveland schools, I currently teach 20 private sessions each week, 1st through 12th grade, as well as college stud
ents and business professionals. I have also served on the faculty at Cuyahoga Community College.

I am patient, friendly and many students tell me that I explain concepts more effectively than their teachers. I am available weekdays or weekends, days or nights, throughout the entire year. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have regarding my experience and teaching methods. While it should go without saying, I have a clean background that has been verified by the FBI and BCII. Let me know if you would like to set up an introductory lesson to design a customized strategy. There is no obligation to continue unless a customer is 100% satisfied.

2. widest student age range
3. farthest geographical regions
4. largest client base
5. most hours taught monthly

As a math major in college and six years experience as a math tutor, I've discovered the secrets to helping students succeed. Whether you're getting ready to take the SAT or you're struggling through Geometry, I've got you've covered. I've worked with all levels of understanding and development, and like to create an environment where the student can feel free to ask questions and use real world examples. Math can truly be fun when you understand it!

About Maggie
I graduated from Furman University in May of 2016, with a major in Computing and Applied Mathematics. I tutored at neighboring high schools all throughout my college years, as well as being hired by the college to teach my peers in lower math classes. I am now currently enrolled in my second year at dental school in Bradenton, Florida, and have found a great way to integrate my mathematical education.

I love to work with math students of all ages, ranging anywhere from early elementary to collegiate level. Although I teach Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 most commonly, there are few levels of math I am uncomfortable with. I love to help students make math applicable-- starting with simple problems and working up to multi-step. Through questions and examples, we can create a formula that works best for you. Every student's learning sty
le is slightly different and I have found fun ways to accommodate this. I want to instill confidence and knowledge in my students! I know we can do it!

I LOVE teaching math, and my passion shows. I especially enjoy teaching students to explore math through inquiry and hands-on exploration. Those moments when my students reach deep understanding and can finally apply it to solving difficult problems motivate me every day!

Rest assured, also, that my teaching methods for math are always based on recent research on how the human brain learns. In order to earn my teaching certification, I needed to pass a rigorous MTEL exam through Massachusetts on PreK-8 math concepts, as well as take multiple courses in elementary and middle school math methods aligned to the Common Core standards, including "Core Math: Numbers and Operations, Function, Geometry and Algebra" and "Math Methods in the Elementary School." I received a 780 on my math SAT when I took it in high school. Though most of my courses have focused on teaching younger students, I have mastery over high school curriculum, as well, and have been able to apply the central theories of
