Alicia A. is a professional Model, Actress, Modeling & Acting Instructor, Voice Over Artist, Motivational Speaker and Writer. She recently returned to Houston from studying with a variety of dynamic teachers in Los Angeles for more than a decade. She has appeared in countless commercials (local & national), industrials, performed improv and sketch comedy, as well as hosting and voice-over.

I have been acting live on stage, as well as films, radio for decades. My favorite role was playing the lead male - George Bailey in Its A Wonderful Life. I am also a stage and film director, and love directing actors because I understand their needs. I find that acting on stage of course, requires a slightly different approach than film acting.

An example of helping actors would be when I directed an actress in a play - she had this moment when she had to let out a loud scream. But she just couldn't quite do it in rehearsals. So I had her come an hour early next time (you never want to correct actors in public) and asked her to shout and yell as loud as she could for me. And I told her she needed to hear herself remove all apprehension and think of the worst moment of her life. Well she screamed a blood curdling scream over and over and over. And I knew - she was NOW ready .
