Kathryn K I am happy to be offering actors, performers and speakers private sessions to strengthen and ignite your work. Actors; we will address technique for film, stage, on camera work, audition technique, monologue, scene study, script analysis, self tapes and sessions that educate and support actors and performers to work in the industry. We will address you. Speakers: I offer one on one coaching in studio and online, offering tools to empower the speaker or executive to communicate with authenticity and confidence. I have worked with people from almost industry you can name. Many of my students work with me to overcome years of shyness. This work helps them speak more comfortably and confidently. I am so happy about this. Most of my actors and performers secure roles, agents and are accepted to the universities they desire, incl
uding but not limited to; NYU Tisch, Carnegie Mellon, Oxford, USC, UCLA and Chapman, to name a few.
I am a member of the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television Artists and Actors Equity Association, a Critics Circle Award Winning Actor and Songwriter. I am always a working artist. I have worked as a producer in film and commercials and have packaged properties from inception to completion. I studied at HB Studio, Mark Monroe Studios and Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. I teach communication skills using tools that actors know to help professionals outside of show business communicate effectively and freely. It is extremely inspiring for people who are not in the arts for a living.
You can see my actors on shows such as, HBO's, Thirteen Reasons Why, WestWorld, Blue Jasmine, Touching Home, (too many to name) and productions at Equity theatres throughout the country and countless National commercials. Most have joined SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity. When you study acting / singing performance w/ me you'll learn how to navigate the business because you must know how.
Auditions!! They are definitely the most difficult and nerve wracking part of being an actor or singer, right? Booking work means your audition has to be as good as opening night. Auditioning is about preparation and preparation takes consistent support. Look, showbiz is not a business about being alone. Artists thrive when working together. We are a collaborative bunch and collaborating to make sure you're ready and organized for your auditions makes sense. Stop trying to muscle through this necessary step alone. No one who works consistently does that! They ask for help. ASK FOR HELP!! Solidify your acting choices so you don't have to worry about them the day before your audition. Know your prep so you can internally drop into it when the casting director says, "Whenever you're ready." Have your music material and performance choices prepared ahead of time. BE AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. Work with me when your agent sends you your sides so you show up READY. Know your lines. It's OK if your struggling with memorization. Let's figure out How YOU memorize. Let me coach you for online audition submissions. If we are working virtually I will coach while you are taping yourself to submit your online audition. It works! Let me collaborate with on script analysis in order for you to you understand your material before you audition. Take your work seriously so you bring your most intelligent and inspiring work to the audition rooms. You'll be bringing the agents, casting directors, directors, producers and writers the inspiration they crave regarding their beloved projects. Do that and you're gonna book. I know you can work and I can't wait to make it happen with you. About Kathryn Kathryn is a member of the Sag-Aftra and Actors Equity and BMI and is a Critics Circle Award Winner. She inhabits a song and involves each member of the audience in its drama, joy or sorrow. There are performers for whom a performance is a night out. Kathryn has applied her knowledge to my storytelling efforts, and I've found her coaching and encouragement to be invaluable. After only a few lessons my stage presence and delivery have improved, and we've just begun!

AMAZING! Kathryn is a star and an excellent mentor!
I have been a performing artist since the age of 9. Over the years, I have worked under dozens of production companies for film and stage. As world-renowned author, Malcolm Gladwell, states in his book "Outliers," it takes 10,000 hours of experience to be considered an expert in any field. After hitting that mark around Christmas 2012, I began to write a curriculum and had my first student a few weeks later.
We will study personal development, (how to prepare your “slate” for each new story), practice character and script analysis, (breaking down each new story to its fundamental core), invest in an understanding for set/stage/studio performances and the histories behind them, in addition to building a skill set in monetizing your growth in the entertainment industry. Lesson basics will include improv, cold reading, monologues and more.
I pull from a wide array of past learning experiences, (from the academy to the set/stage/studio, to my ...

My 11 year old son is already a working actor, but we needed someone to iron out the "rough spots" and give him some extra coaching. Since we don't live near LA, we first started working with Tyler because he was local. He is fantastic! My son just loves him, and they connect really well. When he had an audition for a lead part in a movie, Tyler took the time outside of our normal schedule for some one on one time at the last minute. He is always friendly, professional, and always flexible with our schedule. My son did not get that part, but he auditioned for a tv pilot a few weeks later. He didn't get the part he auditioned for, but he made such an impression on the director, they actually created a special rolel for just for him. We owe some of this to Tyler, he really knows how to bring out the best in your kid. Also, his fees are reasonable. You won't be disappointed!
Our lessons will be an immersive experience that will engage your entire mind and body. Hi! My name is Ashli and I have been a professional actress for over 20 years. I have several professional (TV/Film) credits and I have been in over 20 stage plays. In addition to my professional career, I have been studying acting for over 15 years and hold a bachelors degree in theatre acting from The California Institute of the Arts.
I began coaching and directing actors about 10 years ago. I can teach any age (5+) and any experience level, though, having been a child actor myself, I connect especially well with kid and teen actors. My teaching methods are rooted in several different techniques (method, Uta Hagen, Stanislavsky) but overall, my approach is one that immerses the actor in their work fully. Our sessions will engage your mind, body, and spirit with the hopes that you will become a well rounded and captivating artist and
I look forward to hearing from you soon!

My speciality is Shakespeare. I have been performing, directing, and teaching his work professionally for almost twenty years. I enjoy nothing more. Our work together will include an in-depth look at the text (meaning, structure, verse, etc) and what you as a performer uniquely bring to it (interpretation, voice, speech, physicality, etc). A single lesson will improve your technique. My training is an excellent way to prepare for a role professionally, to prepare audition monologues (either for schools or productions), or to consistently develop your craft.
As an artist, I believe deeply in craft. There are techniques and practices that will make you a better actor, whether inspiration strikes or not.
I’ve worked professionally at theatres including: The Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Indiana Repertory Theatre, the Clarence Brown Theatre, Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, The Denver Center, Shakespeare Santa Cruz.
I’ve studied extensively ...
Hello! My name is Charles Pasternak. I’m an acting teacher that specializes in Shakespeare. I can help you prepare for a part, work on audition monologues, and develop your craft. Your technique will improve after a single lesson.
I’m also a professional actor and director. The work we will do will be practical and applicable.
As a coach I like to make anyone who works with me feel comfortable with the uncomfortable in order get the most out of their acting experience. Being an actor myself, I’ve always appreciated having someone’s company to offer a different perspective when working on a role. Together we can focus on audition prep, character study, career planning, or whatever it is that gets you one step closer to your goals. Please let me know if you have any questions.
I’m an actor born in Oklahoma and raised in Sweden. Growing up I went to drama school in Stockholm then moved to Los Angles to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. I’ve been working in the industry for almost a decade starring in Films, Tv and theatre. My most recent work was as serial killer in the upcoming season of David Fincher’s Mindhunter and on stage in Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage’s Sweat.
As a creative art therapist specializing in drama therapy, you will expand and build a deeper craft personally and professionally. Build characters from scratch and reach a quicker perspective when on auditions. I am trained in Uta Hagen and Meisner technique. You will laugh cry and learn spontaneity as I work on the inner and outer you!
Acting is a gift to bring life back into this world. Let's work together and bring life back into others!

David's class was interesting, challenging, and intellectually stimulating. I left feeling both energized and pleasantly spent. He is exactly the kind of Acting Teacher that I benefited from having discussions with about "the craft." Direct, curious, and thorough. It's also a class that I believe is accessible to actors of all levels, from novice to professional!

I hired David to work with teen and adult actors for a feature length film I directed. The impact that David had on the actors and on the success of the film have been phenomenal. He is a brilliant teacher! One of the teen actors said that he learned more from David in six lessons than he had in dozens of summer acting camps over the years. The adult actors were equally impressed. If you get a chance to work with David, I wouldn't miss it.

David is a "one-of-a-kind" Acting Coach! I have been a professional in the industry for the last 10 years, and I attribute most of my success to David. David encouraged me to lean into my own interferences and self-consciousness in terms of acting, in order to get more comfortable with the unknown and my fears. I attribute David to my success because through this classes I was able to gain the rarest gift any acting teacher can give their student: confidence. I am a braver artist, a more present actor, and even a better person thanks to David's classes. Not only did David influence me as an actor/artist, I use his lessons every day when I teach my own Acting Classes in Chicago. I highly recommend him.

"Nicolas is one of the best mentor I have ever came across. He is a passionate about teaching and able to help you draw out the inner you. I was someone wh
o had a great deal of struggle connecting with my emotions and being able to express it in a sensible way. Within few weeks he taught me how to tap into my feelings and express it outwards. Need less to say he is an impressive teacher and if you have the chance, visit him. It will be beneficial for your personal life and career."
