About Richard

I can't wait to work with you! I am passionate about the subjects I teach, and find nothing can compare to seeing a student "get it", so they may too enjoy the passion that comes from learning and doing something they love. Everything I teach I've learned most completely by doing as a Profession

Richard is so patient and knowledgeable. I am very happy with our lessons. Because of my background with classical guitar he wondered if the fact that he doesn't read music and I am renewing my mind back into it would not be a good teaching set-up. Not at all. I now have an electric guitar and the five years spent playing classical, now fifteen years ago, did not give me a good foundation for understanding music theory unfortunately. I have a genre I had already picked out fingerstyle electric and now with some thinking my way through the basics I did have I still need to learn just basic strumming etc. I understand what he is referring to in music so we still speak in the same key. Also and lastly my daughter has a severe seizure/dementia disorder that is very unpredictable and our caregiver's mom just passed away so there will be times when I just can't do a week/day. He has been very understanding. I am smiling from my soul because music is my healing path for difficult stuff I couldn't pay any doctor/therapist to even call me back for. Thank you so much for your assistance. Sincerely Teresa

Knitting is a wonderful skill! From the practical -- such as scarves, sweaters, or socks -- to the artistic, learning to knit gives you a hobby that reduces stress, gives the ability to make your own gifts, and even earn a little pocket money! As we took a childbirth class from Christelle, you might say we took one of the most important classes in our lives from her! We honestly believe if we had not taken her class we would not have had nearly so positive an experience in natural childbirth, so much credit is due to her. Christelle prepared thoroughly for all our lessons, included interesting activities and personal anecdotes. Most importantly, Christelle made it clear that she cared not only about our grasp of the content but also about us as people. That made all the difference.

Christelle is very knowledgeable and personal at the same time. I like how she can draw a lot from her personal experience as well.
