Dennis has been a mentor and friend now for nearly 20 years. He is a knowledgeable and passionate advocate for the arts who gives his all to each student. Working with him is always challenging and fun.

Dennis Johnson is extremely passionate and knowledgable about every topic relating to acting and voiceovers. His classes are friendly, warm, funny, inviting and are always very positive. Although his classes may be challenging, he focusses on preparing his students for the real world and is passionate about putting his student's best foot forward. A few things he covers in classes are improvisation, analyzing monologues and analyzing film. He is reliable and flexible with busy schedules and makes an effort to teach life lessons as well. I feel extremely lucky to have found him and to have access to his classes and film and voice over editing skills. He is a gem.
Christine
Working with Dennis has been incredibly beneficial to my growth as an actor. His ability to dissect a scene, work through the nuances of the character, and the sub-text and communicate this on camera with techniques that set you above the amateur actor, has helped me tremendously and opened up not only opportunities but my confidence as well. Dennis approaches the actor as a whole and understands there are parts to this whole and each part—the body, the speech, the mind—is just as important as the next. I wouldn't be the actor I am today if it weren't for Dennis.

I have worked with Molly together on a number of auditions and all I can say is that she has given me so much to work with every time. Molly has the skills to help navigate through script, dig into the subtext, and help actors to come up with new ideas perhaps outside of the way in which the artist has already broken down the script. I personally highly recommend working with Molly because I have never once been disappointed in the time, dedication, and effort she gives to every actor who makes the choice to team up with her for a better acting experience.

I was given Molly's name and information from another acting instructor of mine. When given a coaching recommendation from another coach, expectations are certainly high. Molly met and exceeded any expectations that I had.

In our very first interaction, I had requested Molly to assist me with a self-tape audition for a lead role in a short film. She took what I brought to the audition and offered insights and ideas on how to add layers onto my character and the intentions behind the delivery of his lines. Ideas and insights that I hadn't even considered. She was patient, intuitive, insightful and most importantly, fun to work with. The end result - I booked the job off that first audition! Thank you Molly! :-)
Kate
Amazing coach and collaborator! I've been working with Molly over the last year-plus on co-star and guest star auditions. She always provides great notes and ideas for each scene while also being positive and supportive. In my view, this combination is the the key to bringing out an actor's best work.

I co founded an award winning regional theatre in the Northwest that is still running strong. Last year, the film I directed, Here Awhile starring Anna Camp, and Joe Lo Truglio, was released to wide acclaim.

Throughout my career as an actor who has performed with 6 Academy Award winners, I have remained committed to sharing my knowledge and experience with other actors.

I received my BFA at Southern Oregon University where I worked at the famed Oregon Shakespeare festival. My MFA comes form the Alabama Shakespeare festival. I taught acting at Cornell University and Willamette University as well as teaching privately for the last 20 years.

Tim's class is a great resource for anyone looking to improve their acting skills, audition technique, or general understanding of the industry. He does a wonderful job of translating his extensive experience into practical advice for other actors. Every week, he provides individualized feedback to each workshop participant on every aspect of their submission. I've learned so much about specific techniques for television and film acting, the practical and technical considerations when putting together a self-tape, as well as just general professionalism and industry standards. Thanks to this workshop, I feel much more confident and prepared for what a career in acting entails.
Liz
This is a very useful class. I've learned a lot about making self tapes that I didn't know before - from technical considerations to acting skills. The class is friendly, supportive, and useful.
Lauren
I love working with Tim! He consistently guides me to do my best possible work, and I always walk away feeling confident that I crushed the audition, whatever it is. And booking several jobs after getting coached by him certainly doesn't hurt!

"My son is very difficult to work with. He had never seen any reason to memorize a monologue word for word. Jason had a very difficult job ahead of him, getting my son ready for his auditions for college. Through working with Jason,my son realized the value of memorization, and practicing his monologue enough times to get it down. He is attending AMDA now, and he could have picked from three colleges that he auditioned for.

Jason kept his cool and worked well through all the little shows of emotion and pique that my son put on. Jason really came through for us and we will be using his services again for our daughter. Not only does Jason know his stuff, but he knows how to work with and handle teens."
