I teach my own method of self-growth called Adoga. Inspired by various forms of meditation and other self-growth techniques, Adoga is a framework for applying, relating, and integrating a series of connected practices. I have written a book on this subject, which is available on amazon and in other online stores. There is a certain progression that can be used in order to master the extensive framework of Adoga. First, the student is presented with a basic self-growth practice, perhaps a meditation of watching the breath for example. Then, the student is given subsequent, more advanced techniques in a series. Each practice provides a unique benefit. As the student learns a sufficient number of practices, the focus then shifts to integrating and synergizing the practices together, understanding their relationships, and the bigger-picture that they paint. As you can see from this progressive outline, Adoga is really in some ways best thought of as a meta-practice or a collection of practices. It is not just a simple collection though but a highly connected and integrated system of practice which produces a powerful synergistic effect. Within the structure outlined so far, private lessons offer the opportunity to learn Adoga in a way that is customized for you. Lessons can become a discussion back and forth working through the dynamics and challenges that are unique to each student. If certain practices are already familiar to a student, instruction on these can be accelerated or skipped altogether. Other practices may be focused on because they are of particular difficulty or interest. Adoga excites me in a profound way because I know that, with consistent and dedicated practice, it can really change your life for the better in ways that are hard to imagine.
