I have studied and performed extensively. I studied method acting in multiple classes during my undergraduate studies and have continued to study and perform using this method since then, completing a full 2 year Meisner training class as well as attending workshops in other methods.

My MFA is from a top 3 actor training program. I have been coaching actors for over a decade. I live in Los Angeles and work professionally as an actor in theatre, film, and television. I have such a wide variety of techniques at my disposal that I bring whatever technique seems to be best suited to the you and the material you are working on. I have taught at The American Conservatory Theatre, The Berkeley Repertory School of Theatre, The Theatre of Arts, Naropa University, and privately.

The thing that separates me from the rest of the mentors you will find on this subject is that my knowledge and experience comes from my many years in the Private Security field.....specializing in "Undercover/plain clothed" investigations, resulting in a proficiency in Behavioral Psychology.

In my brief existence on earth, somehow, all of my interests, flaws, and experiences fit together like a puzzle and have lead me to the point where I can understand human behavior and psychology fluently....raising me to a life of mentorship and leadership.

How did I end up teaching Method Acting? The subject came up at a dinner party, and I managed to jump in half way. Surprisingly enough, for a few minutes I thought the subject of the conversation was some kind of Undercover law Enforcement until I discovered they were discussing method actors...

I have extensive experience in theatre and now film. I think I offer ways for students to give honest performances, whether for auditions or scene study. Additionally, I have developed through my own experience successful approaches to auditioning that should benefit any student.

Award winning actor and teacher with 7 years of classical training from some of the worlds top training programs such as Carnegie Mellon University (USA) and RADA (UK). Currently and actively working in TV&Film as well as classical theater between London, New York and LA.

I offer Acting training with three different types of focuses:

-Acting Lessons: If you are interested in the craft of acting and want to become a better artist I create a weekly/monthly lesson plan which will serve your unique needs. Lessons will be based around your experience level, your interests, and your end goal as a performer.

-Audition Coaching: Monologue/Scene/Side coaching for anything from a Community Theater audition to a callback for Chicago Fire. We will attack your audition material from analytically, psychophysically, and psychologically.

-Acting Industry Coaching: What does an agent do? How do I get noticed by a Casting Director? How can I get to perform in a Motion Picture? What type am I?
The focus of my Acting Industry Coaching is to expose the actors to all the industry tools and info that can make them successful. Explaining Unions, how a headshot can get you through the door, and how to figure out type are what I focus on in these lessons.

ACTING is just not the art; it is the movement, the audience, the text and the drive for those looking to begin working in professional environments. Students enrolled in ACTING: Journey will find new ways to analyze, respond and incorporate text, movement and various other skills needed for stage work.
