About Daniel

I love teaching, I can teach you at where you at and take you where you need to be. I only need a student with the desire to learn and to practice.

I like to help students realize they have the intelligence and ability to solve the problems on their own, they just need the right direction. Nothing is too difficult once we understand how to do it!

About Emily

I've been working professionally as an artist since 2009, making graphics and illustrations for clients and having worked for Disney Research for just over a year. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts in 2012. I'm currently a freelance artist, but I also love contributing to the art education community by inspiring and instructing anyone who wants to learn.

I specialize in drawing/illustration, digital painting, and 2D hand-drawn frame-by-frame digital animation, mostly in the context of video games (with 2D graphics). Many of my drawing/animation students have been interested in drawing/animating animals, especially furry/anthro memes. I've helped students complete tiny looping animations, creating memes as well as short films.

My hope and mission is to successfully distribute my knowledge,

skills and experience to anyone who wants to acquire them.

I'm capable of a large range of improvements, from goals as hobbyists to more professional goals. I have successfully helped students get admitted into their desired art schools through portfolio preparation, as well as helped artists get their first gigs as freelancers. I can serve as a mentor for an artist's early years as a contractor.

Lessons are taught through Google Hangouts video calls where I always share my screen to clearly show my demonstrations in real time. Students may also share their screens if they are working digitally. If students work on paper, they may take phone pics and message/email them to me during class, or hold up their work on the webcam if it's high enough quality.

Thank you for your interest!

This was my first introduction to animation. Emily was great! She was patient, and very knowledgeable. She taught me how to use my software and showed me different techniques I could do. Planning on taking a couple more classes

Anna was helping my 11 year old improve his verbal skills while we were on vacation for 5 weeks in NYC. Instead of sitting in a class room the lessons were spent at different places in the city and Anna prepared interesting themes for every lesson that let my son both practice speaking a lot as well as hear many interesting stories of NYC. In addition to being a great teacher Anna is also an excellent guide.

I enjoyed my first lesson with Anna. She is a very good teacher. She understood my goals and structured the class in the right format. I look forward to having fluent conversations in Russian by the end of these sessions.
Thanks.

About Harry

I have always loved the learning process and so I made it my mission to create a life of helping others to learn.

This life has mission has taken me around the world teaching various subjects in all sorts of places and my love for it grows more and more everyday.

I have seen from all my wonderful experiences that having a teacher working closely with you to guide and support you allows students to fly and achieve anything they want.

In the case of learning a language its such am individual process that immediate feedback and adaptation of the lesson is the key to quick acquisition and confidence in applying those language skills.

I believe my enthusiasm, patience and problem-solving skills are the perfect combination in helping my students to achieve their dreams.

I am excited to work with you.

About Trudy

I have been taking digital photos since 2001 but started when I first fell in love with
Photoshop. My favorite subject matter is nature but the principles of taking a decent photo will be similar for any subject matter.

I photograph large events and headshots and believe in the importance of a first impression. I learned posing techniques from working for a large national company but apply some of these principles even at events.

While I now shoot with my cell phone too, I am well versed on how to operate a professional camera (Canon) and this is what I will be teaching you.

About Tony

Hello! Hello! Hello! Im Tony! I have been doing photography and editing for over 6 years. It started out as random request from my friend who was a music artist, who was looking to do a photoshoot from which he would pick a photo and use for his album cover. I told him i would help, he let me borrow his camera, I took a few pictures and BOOOM! I was hooked! From there i continued learning under many mentors and eventually started doing all types of events. I love the fact that in photography no matter how much you know, theres still always more room for new things to be learned. I'm looking forward to meeting many of you and helping you achieve your own personal goals in photography!

About Eduardo

I am a self-taught artist that has been drawing/painting for as long as I can remember. I always have found art as a creative outlet and have inspired many of the people close to me to try out themselves and ended up loving it.

I have taught classes of both adults and kids ranging from kindergarten all the way to high school in group settings.

The classes are always fun because I like to play their favorite music to stimulate a creative mood.

The type of lessons can range from beginner techniques to advanced depending on your the students goals, but regardless a fun experience.

Some of the mediums I teach are acrylic, oil, pastels, color pencil, chalk, charcoal and mix media.
