I am a music and art teacher, and I have earned my Associate's degree in Music Education at MDC with a focus on jazz guitar. I have a diverse experience in different genres of music (rock, pop, punk/metal, jazz, praise & worship/gospel, and others). I have also sung and played guitar, drums, and bass in numerous bands throughout the years (currently, drummer/percussionist in folk-rock band The Fortune Tellers in Miami, FL).
I have always had a deep love for art, and am currently working on my Bachelor of Science in K-12 Art Education. I have a particular interest in figure drawing/portraiture (charcoal, graphite, India ink), landscape and still life painting (acrylic and oil paint), and both digital and film photography.
I am hoping to improve my teaching skills throug

Painting is a skill that everyone wishes to have but its not everyones cup of tea. Let me help you explore how anyone can learn to paint just by following basic rules. You will have a painting to hang on the wall.
My current disciplines are painting (acrylic primarily but also body-paint), photography (digital and b&w film) and mixed media.
I believe everyone is an artist and it's just a matter of exploring mediums until you find what's right for you and continue developing.
I love to nurture and facilitate that journey for others because art is therapeutic, it helps keep our wits sharp and it is a wonderful way to express, explore, connect and even make a positive difference.
