Painting classes will teach you to learn how to express yourself through your artistic abilities.
1 - I will help you decide what you would like to paint and how you want to achieve your painting goals.
2 - You will learn how to paint base colors, layers, and details of the scene or subject.
3 - You will accomplish your painting ideas and goals learning and using various techniques.

With 12+ years of experience, I have a long history of practicing visual art. Drawing and painting are some of my favorite practices, and I love helping others take what they see and express that through their own hands. Together we'll explore what it means to perceive and express through creative visual means!

I can teach you how to make money with Calligraphy and Hand Lettering.

I start out with nomenclature, then I go into the basics of composition, flourishes, tracking, and anatomy. Then I get into skeletal stroke order for Serif, Sans Serif and Script (focusing on whichever one the student wants), and I provide more in depth training in each specific style of interest.

I also can teach you hand lettering which is different from Calligraphy in that the rules are much looser and it is very stylized, and is a lot more fun.

WATERCOLOR PAINTING LESSONS

Abstract Painting uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world. Abstract art, non figurative art, nonobjective art, and nonrepresentational art are loosely related terms. They are similar, but perhaps not of identical meaning.

2. Proper Painting Brushes
I‘d suggest six total in a range of sizes: two size 2 brushes, two size 6 brushes, and two size 12 brushes. One of each pair should be a flat brush (with a squared-off brush tip) and the other should be a filbert brush (with a slightly rounded tip).

Whether you have never picked up your DSLR camera before or are starting to become serious about photography, my lessons will help you get on the right track. I have been teaching Photoshop on Takelessons for 3 years now, and I am now deciding to expand my lessons and offer photography as well. We can go over how to use your camera, what gear you should bring, lenses, how to control: shutter speed, aperture, ISO, etc. We can get into technical aspects such as printing, post processing, and sharing your images online as well. I am a "Canon guy", so that is my specialty!
