About william
I have been teaching for over 20 years in a wide variety of disciplines. I began my teaching career as a scuba instructor and have taught acting and improvisation professionally in New York City for ten years. As an actor I have been the resident teaching artist at dozens of NYC schools and helped write curriculum for the DELLTA program (developing English language learning through the arts).

Professionally I have made a living from acting (both theatre and film), stand up comedy, improvisation, freelance writing, even being a United States Marine. For the past 7 years I have been teaching children and adults with autism as an ABA therapist.

I offer a very broad range of experience not only with the disciplines I have taught but with the exceptional variety of people I have had the privilege of working with.

Will has a great way of guiding the team to not only work together but dial in what's working and phase out what's not. He's patient, encouraging, and most importantly honest. It's clear he loves the form and working with others to find what works for their team.

Will and I performed and taught together for years in NYC. He is the best! He really focuses on spontaneity and supporting his partner. When you work with him, you won’t have to worry about being funny or clever. He will help you learn to improvise in your own unique way.

Will was an outstanding member of our NYC company. His imagination, vibrancy, generosity and goofy sense of humor make him fantastic to work with. Will also taught with us in public schools, where his thoughtful feedback and unfailing support made him one of our best teachers. He has our highest recommendation.

I love Denise! Denise is patient and kind which is wonderful as a teacher. She creates a safe space, but she's also constructive with her criticisms and how to improve. She's also nurturing which I think is an excellent quality to have as a dance teacher as she's respectful of all dancers of other levels/experience. She loves to fun during class too! I love attending class because not only do I learn how to become a better dancer, but she makes it fun too.

So I'm fairly new to the acting scene. I decided to try out some classes at The Film Set in Claremont. Upon meeting Ernie, I was a bit intimidated and out of my comfort zone. There were people there that were REALLY good and I thought I could never compare. Ernie has a way of adjusting to your personality to get you to dive into things at a rate in which you are comfortable with. He has the ability to point out your strengths and improve them, exponentially. Not only is he great at his craft, or stellar in his ways of teaching; he truly is just an all around great guy. His vibe, energy and demeanor make him very pleasant to be around. It's almost like i would pay him just to be my friend. if you are shopping for an instructor, try this guy out. You won't be disappointed and if you are, then acting's probably not for you.

Teaching the craft of acting is something Ernie has mastered. Learning from him has been a great. As a first time actress Ernie welcomed me with warmth. He understands how nervous first time actors can be but, with grace he knows how to calm those nerves down and help you reach your best acting potential. Ernie has helped me learn my acting strengths and weaknesses. His coaching and feedback is very precise. Pointing out small cues to improve your acting and guiding you on ways to better the character. His coaching pushes you to discover many sides of the scene and helps you better understand the scrip, which only makes you a better actor. Thanks to Ernie my passion for acting has only become more realistic as I pursue my career. For anyone looking for serious coaching and looking to make acting their career I would highly recommend Ernie.

No matter your previous acting experience Ernie will work with you and help you understand the business of acting. Ernie is easy to talk to, he gives good criticism on ways I can improve (i.e Vocally, or my physical presence or facial expressions). He pays attention and can see what you're capable of even if you're hiding it. After every class I am more confident in my acting because I have such an amazing teacher.

Experienced teacher of 5 years specializing in acting techniques. All ages and levels welcome. This is an acting course catered to your needs. I specialize in acting for film and/or theatre, monologues, audition preparation and technique, improvisation, and memorization techniques. Whether you have never acted a day in your life or a have played Annie 12 times I'm here to help you gain confidence as a performer.

About Kirstie
Greetings!

I have hands on experience teaching and directing actors of various ages.
During my time at Denison University I gained experience with acting techniques as well as directing actors for the stage and screen, which I have continued to use for recent independent projects.

Most recently I worked at the New York Film Academy’s summer camp where I utilized my knowledge of film and theatre to assist the students with their projects. While there I got to teach a screenwriting course and help with their monologue class.

Furthermore, I have taken classes from multiple instructors from different studios, including James Franco’s Acting School, in Los Angeles. I’m well-informed with scene study, monologue techniques, acting for film, reading technique, improvisation, memorization, Meisner practices, Stanislavski technique, and chara
cter development.

Acting is a passion of mine and I would love to help you break out of their shell and develop a passion for the art form in the same way that my teachers and mentors did for me.

I look forward to meeting you!

About Adam
My name is Adam. I was born in Oklahoma and moved to Sweden at age of 5. It was around that time I started becoming interested in movies as well as putting on performances in front of family and friends. As a teenager I went to an art and performance high school. As soon as I was done with my classes I would head over to an english speaking theatre at nights. At age 19 l moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. I started by attending an acting and film academy that went on for two years. Since graduation I've been working on everything from film, tv, commercial and plays.

Needless to say acting is a big part of my life. I enjoy it more then anything else. That is why I started coaching people. I like to see the actor become the character. I want to help you be the best you can be by sharing my knowledge as well as my passio
