We are so thankful we found Patrick! Patrick is a very effective teacher who’s able to relate and motivate students. Our daughter was loosing interest in playing piano due to her former teacher’s approach. Now she’s back to practicing because she wants to and is so excited to see Patrick each week. We are very greatful that she’s back to loving piano and continuing to learn.

Patrick is a great teacher, and very patient. I've never learned how to sing or read music before, and he teaches at a pace that's good for me. I highly recommend him whether you're an adult or you're considering enrolling your child.

Each lesson is designed on the level of the student's ability from beginner to advanced. Rock, R&B, funk, jazz, blues, POP and country music. I like to use song learning as a vehicle to sharpen your skills. Learning skills through songs is more fun for beginners. More advanced students will work on everything from theory, reading, harmony; and how you can use scales and arpeggios in a number of ways over several different styles of music.

He is good!!!
I can play the very basic when I started but still need someone to help me to put everything together. He can diagnosis my level and design the learning plan for me when we first met. Lesson is fun and he always got something new/interesting to for students to work and practice.

Incredible and knowledgeable guitar instructor!

I just realized how important to have a teacher right in front me to guide and correct my fingers when I had my 1st class with Stephen. Just like everybody else, I took the online lessons for few months with other teacher and also learned from Youtube on my own in the last two years. I can play but I knew I was missing something.

He really brought me to the next level.
Katherine
Lesson was fun!!!!

I can play the basic chords before I met him. Stephen can oversee the problems and fix it when in the first lesson. I was like....WoW!!! He is a experienced guitar instructor. Impressed!!!

"Andrew has been teaching my son music lessons since July 2013, and we have been very pleased. He is always on time, communicates well, and is able to be flexible when our schedule is not 100% predictable.

My son was 7 when he began the guitar and after just over a year, we decided that it would be best to switch to the piano. Practicing the guitar was always a struggle. Andrew took this change from guitar to piano in stride and has enough piano skills to help my son learn all of the things that are important in music: reading, learning rhythm, etc. I have seen him teach younger students and I appreciate that he can adapt his teaching approach to match the age, ability and interest of the learner.

My son seems intrinsically motivated to learn the piano and practice. But even as he plodded away strumming his electric guitar unenthusiastically, Andrew always found a way to engage him. One of the more memorable techniques Andrew uses is to write out the music for the songs my son wants to learn. At that moment, it was a Pokémon song. I thought it was rather genius. Even though my son barely practiced, he wanted to learn that song.

By means of the piano, Andrew is teaching my son music, not just how to play songs on the piano. I am amazed at the progress he has made from not being able to reproduce rhythms to now being able to do so.

It is clear that Andrew enjoys teaching. He is personable and polite. I have referred him to family and friends and would not hesitate to hire him for drums, guitar and beginning piano."

"William is my first guitar teacher. As daunting as it can be to learn an instrument, he created a comfortable experience for me. He's incredibly talented and his love for music truly shows (which is inspiring). I initially started with the desire to learn jazz and William opened my eyes to explore other genres that integrate with jazz. Im excited to continue to learn and grow with music. I highly recommend anyone at any level to take lessons with William.

Thank you, William!"

"Hands down the best guitar instructor in St Louis.

Since retiring in 2006 I tried a few others but David brings expertise in not only guitar mechanics and virtuosity but an understanding of deeper musical principles and its application to the guitar student.

Dave is a true genius in the art of Guitar, no matter the musical genre - or -whether its Led Zepplin or Brouwer classical guitar method.he can't be beat.

"Excellent Edwin!

My husband and I took joint guitar lessons with Edwin for several months. He was outstanding! He is extremely musically literate, he can hear chords of songs you want to learn just by ear and teach them to you, he is patient and calm, he is smart and savvy, and list goes on. Our playing ability improved tremendously and Edwin always wrote out charts for us at the end of the lesson to practice in between sessions. I would highly recommend Edwin for any level of skill and any age of student. He even came to our home so we could study in the comfort of our own living room. Loved it! Thanks Edwin!!!"

Guitar Lessons in Corona, CA

By Milton J. - Corona Guitar Teacher

Are you looking forward to taking guitar lessons in Corona? Wondering if you can foster your learning and performing? Well, you’ve come to the right place in the Circle City! My name is Milton, and I teach guitar lessons in Corona, CA. With nearby attractions, concert halls, amphitheaters, and arenas, there are quite a few places to go to be around like-minded guitar shredders, pluckers and strummers and to showcase your musical talents. Here are a few local music hotspots in Corona that may help you find wonderful resources for your guitar learning!

Music and Arts Center (http://stores.musicarts.com/corona) This is one of our local Sam Ash-esque music shops to find a good selection of sheet music, how-to books, and new and lightly-used guitars to play on and buy. If you’re looking for new songs to learn in your lessons with your new TakeLessons teacher, or if you’re ready to graduate to another guitar, the Corona Music Center is a good place to start.

It’s A Grind Coffee House (https://www.facebook.com/ItsAGrindEagleGlen) A nice, well-maintained coffee shop in its own right, It’s A Grind offers a wonderful open mic night on Thursdays. This is one of my favorite spots to check out local music talent. Wonderful musicians come through the doors every week, so all aspiring guitarists in Corona should check this out!

Rockefellas (http://rockefellasbar.com) If you’re of age and enjoy the dive-bar vibe, wonderful live bands strut their stuff on the Rockefellas stage. If you’re a guitarist in a band, this is a wonderful venue to play gigs and show off what you’ve learned in your lessons!

The Vibe (https://www.facebook.com/TheVibeBarAndGrill) This Riverside hotspot for the college-age crowd near UCR is a great place to discover local R&B, hip-hop, pop, and rock talent. Head out on a Friday with your friends, and you may meet a new artist to collaborate with in the future.

Fox Center and Riverside Municipal Auditorium (http://www.riversidelive.com) Both these venues are wonderful places to take in a musical or concert. The theaters bring in top-tier performers, and The Fox has an open mic night, usually in the third week of the month. So, be sure to check the calendar to see when your favorite show or artist is coming to town!

Have fun finding new music to learn, watch, and love in Corona! Keep in mind, too, that the best-fitting guitar teacher and daily practice will help you hit all of your guitar goals in a timely and enjoyable manner. Most importantly, have fun playing guitar here in your city of Corona!
