I emphasize a solid foundation of basic skills that are ideally mastered before attempting advanced yoga asanas. This enables you to find your way naturally into the postures while avoiding injury or discomfort. My classes will guide you on your yoga journey of self-discovery as your body opens. Yoga is the ultimate self-care practice, providing physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits. My classes will work every part of your body and leave you feeling calm, grounded in embodied. Namaste I will meet you where you are in your practice and share with you the following: -How to really do warm ups (this is widely unknown)! -How to utilize static & dynamic practices -Which pose is your priority pose at your current stage in practice -Proper order and sequencing of your poses in your practice -The art of "sequencing" in which one posture flows into the next -Proper breathing -Mental / emotional stability practices

    Namaste! My mission is to help you feel comfortable & empowered in your body. Yoga & Qigong show us how to de-program conditioned, mechanical movement patterns & train us for functional, organic movement habits. I consider Yoga to be the ultimate self-care modality. Yoga asana creates balance & harmony on physical, emotional, mental & spiritual levels & it perfects the body. I have almost 40 years of experience in yoga practice & have studied with a variety of senior teachers, all from the Krishnamacharia lineage. I am offering both group classes and private yoga sessions on this platform. My style is highly influenced by Qigong which is seamlessly integrated in the practice. ESL: I am also happy assist you in improving your English. I will introduce you to variety of techniques which will enable you to become fluent rapidly. I am a native English speaker with a neutral American accent. I am currently not offering ESL until after the new year, and I am also not currently accepting children. Prior to 2020, I worked as a massage therapist and yoga instructor. I have a Bachelors Degree in Holistic Health science. I am interested in yoga, meditation, self-care and natural healing. I love beautiful natural places such as the beach and mountains. My classes are offered in a relaxed tone with no pressure or stress. We enjoy the learning process together.
