Hi guys! I'm Ron, and I hope to be your new teacher. I'm currently located in Atlanta, GA having recently relocated from Detroit. I've been a professional musician most of my life, playing keyboards and singing for many Michigan bands. I have been teaching voice, piano and recording at the Detroit School of Rock and Pop for the last 7 years. During that time I helped a number of students through their college auditions which led to their acceptance at schools like Belmont and NYU. I was the Instructor for a recording/production class using Pro Tools and Logic with a focus on arrangement & composition. I also co-authored the soon-to-be published vocal book Sing For Your Life, about using good technique to keep your voice healthy for a lifetime. Let's get started!

I started working with Ron in Detroit when I was about 14, to really get my voice together and to be ready to hold the tests of time. Recording in studios and playing in bands around the area it became important to find my true voice and learn proper technique. As well as, to gain the knowledge to work with and constantly perfect. I'll soon be 22, and I can still say he is a great friend of mine, and still as inspiring and nice to talk to as the day I met him. I give much of the knowledge he gave to me, onto other artists I produce, and work with. I've seen it not only make the world of difference in my sound, career, and life; but also in the others I've been able to pass it on to today.

As the Executive Producer and founder of The Detroit School of Rock and Pop Music, I have a reputation for having the best staff and students in Metro Detroit. For many years prior to his relocation to Atlanta, Ron was an integral part of upholding that reputation. He has been a great teacher, mentor and colleague of many on our team and, while it's sad to see him in a warmer climate than Detroit, I know he will bring a lifetime of music to many more people there in the coming years. I selected "Pop Piano" for this review, but please know that he was awesome at voice, piano, and recording skills with our team in Detroit. - Kudos for reading this far, as Ron is worth every moment of time you spend learning about him or with him.
