My career in fitness began after high school when my competitive athletic career came to an end. These years had such an impact on my life that it was an easy decision to pursue a career in fitness so I could help others reap the benefits of an active life. Although on paper it seems like I was always fit and healthy, I struggled with disordered eating patterns and an obsession with how my body looked. I struggled for many years with yo-yo dieting, cycles of bingeing and restricting, and exercising as a form of punishment to “undo” my indulgences. Slowly over time, with many ups and downs and a lot of faith in God, I was able to break free of these bad behaviors and begin to live a more wholesome healthy life.
My education, experience and personal journey have shaped me into the coach I have become today. My method is to work alongside you to build a custom plan based on your shape, size, and fitness goals. I aim to not only to help you transform your body, but to influence you in making more mindful decisions when it comes to your health. Together, we will work towards making small behaviors changes that will make a huge impact over time.
