Hi yogis! My name is Katie and I am a certified professional Vinyasa yoga instructor, guiding self-seekers and yoga practitioners to deepen their practice. I teach a variety of yoga to fit your needs: Restorative, Gentle Vinyasa and Vinyasa Flow. My passion for yoga was first ignited in 2011 and has been an ongoing journey! My goal is to create an open, inclusive and light-hearted environment for practitioners to show up as they are. I approach each practice with the principles of mindfulness, prana and energywork. I strive to provide a safe space to help you build a lifestyle. 

I hold a 200 Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Certification and a Third Level Reiki Practitioner Certification, both through the Higher Power Yoga Studio in Trenton, NJ.

Katie is great. She worked with me ahead of time to make sure I got exactly what I needed from class. She has great energy and transitions well and is easy to follow. She would be great for beginners as well as folks like myself who have done yoga before.

Was a great first experience and will be doing more with both me and my wife

Kathleen has a wonderful presence; I liked her immediately.  We also were able to speak to each other directly, without any egos getting in the way.  She was open to all feedback from me--for example, due to a large hematoma on my thigh I cannot lie on my belly till it heals.  Kathleen understood perfectly and we left out those poses..  I wanted for us to practice the session together, but then I realized I also should ask her to watch me, so I can be corrected if I am making errors in form... so we compromised and worked that out too.  I think she is a great person to learn from: she is very knowledgeable and empathetic.
