Volleyball with Jillian B.

My name is Jillian and I have coached soccer and volleyball for elementary to high school students. Sports were an integral part of my childhood and love for the outdoors and I hope to instill that in my students. I took more than 10 years of piano lessons that were stiff and dull. As an adult, I have ventured back into the piano world and can now teach the way I wanted to be taught - through fun interactive games and activities. Playing musical instruments (clarinet, piano, e flat clarinet) and reading music has been extremely helpful throughout my life. Performance is a large part of my life and I began theater in high school. The last three years, I have been studying improvisational comedy at The Second City, iO and The Chicago Improv Den where I perform on a house team weekly. Improv is all about authenticity and acceptance and joy! I hope to teach my students this through methodology and fun. Please let me know if you have any questions!
