Hello! I'm Jennifer, a Seattle-based yoga teacher, mama, wife, and perpetual student who’s passionate about holistic health, clean food, sangha/community, and the power of yoga and mindfulness to heal our world. My personal practice and teaching style are influenced by yoga’s Hatha, Restorative, Vinyasa Flow and Yin traditions, with an emphasis on intentional sequencing, functional alignment, personalized modifications, stress reduction, mindful movement, calming pranayama and nurturing self care; quite simply, I believe that your yoga practice should make you feel good! I'm passionate about helping busy people (especially parents, caregivers and over-scheduled professionals) cultivate the life skills a regular yoga practice can impart, including enhanced focus, increased confidence, greater body awareness and self-respect, mindful breathing and stress management techniques, improved strength and flexibility, and kindness and consideration for ourselves, our communities and our planet. Through private yoga lessons, I aim to share these benefits with you in a positive, peaceful and welcoming way, right in the comfort of your Seattle home or office. After years of dedicated practice, I completed my 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher training at Seattle's renowned 8 Limbs Yoga Centers; I am also certified through Twist Vinyasa Yoga to teach Restorative Yoga and am in the process of completing my prenatal/postnatal yoga teaching (RPYT) certification. When not on my mat, I enjoy cooking, reading, walking in nature, and spending time with family and friends, and I would love to connect with you!

Yoga Alliance is the largest nonprofit association representing the yoga community. Our mission is to spread the power of yoga one person at a time. We believe that the individual experience of yoga is of paramount importance, and are committed to supporting the passage of yoga from trainer to teacher, teacher to student, and student to aspiring yogi. Our role as the national support organization for the yoga community is to ensure that the practice of yoga will keep growing, so that more people will connect with yoga and be transformed. As an organization we keep several core values at heart: service, excellence, transparency, learning and community.
