Music Performance with Ellie J.

This is short version of my bio! Ellie was born on December 20, 1993 in Busan, the second biggest city in South Korea. She started studying classical piano when she was 5 years old. While growing up in a family fully engaged in the medical field, she kept playing piano persistently. She attended the 2nd International Piano Competition of Korea when she won a gold prize at the age of 12. She later learned to play the violin, flute, and guitar, and was often asked to perform at family gatherings and at school recitals. Shortly after, she was accepted to the Applied Music Program at Santa Monica College where she graduated with an Associate of Art degree in Music. Ellie has a private studio where she teaches piano and English to adult learners. Now she is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in San Diego State University majoring in Music Performance.
