I began teaching music to students aged 3-13 at a Montessori school back in 2006.
I studied Music Composition and Theory for 5 years and have an extensive knowledge of many instruments.
I have played oboe for 17 years and have previously played bassoon, clarinet, tenor saxophone, French horn, violin, cello, double bass, and, of course, piano.
Prior to relocating to Chicago, I was principal oboist for the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra.
With my extensive knowledge and study of instruments and music theory as well as the physics of sound, I can help you further your knowledge and skills of composing or arranging within any styles in which you are interested.
