I grew up in Tampa, Florida and have been singing (and been in voice lessons) since the age of 5. After receiving my BFA in Musical Theatre from Florida State University, I moved to New York City to pursue musical theatre for 6 years. After getting an off broadway show under my belt, I moved to LA and started taking up songwriting as well. Now, I sing and perform in my own band around the LA area as well as sing back up vocals in a band that is headlining The Troubadour this July.
With all that said, vocal training and foundation is the most important thing if you want to be a singer. I think anyone is capable of being a successful singer if you have the tools, the training, and love for it. You already have the instrument, you just have to learn how to play it. I was trained in classical voice, jazz, pop, and broadway styles and I’d love to help you achieve your goals in whatever style you prefer. With proper training, I believe it is possible to sing in any style you choose!!
I specialize in musical theatre, singer/ songwriter style, telling the story of the song you are singing, prepping for an audition, and stage presence. Let’s have some fun and let me help you achieve your goals!
