I began practicing yoga for the physical benefits of yoga: muscle toning and improved flexibility. What I didn't expect was the possibility for yoga to be a journey of self discovery for me. I overcame challenges in my yoga practice that gave me the confidence to overcome challenges in my personal and professional life. I am able to find mental calmness under physical stress in yoga, which taught me how to find mental calmness amidst the stress of daily life. I want to share both these physical and mental benefits of yoga with you!
