"Having never taken a watercolor lesson before, I did not know where to begin. Renata showed patience, expertise, and humor as she helped me acquire the m

"Brit is a wonderful teacher for my 10-year-old daughter. She follows my daughter's lead in terms of interest, letting her create without too many boundari
es, but also teaching her definite technique to achieve her vision, such as mixing colors and some different ways to apply paint to canvas. In addition, she is teaching her practical skills like prepping a canvas and caring for brushes. They do the work in a grad school studio, which leads to a lot of conversing on other people's work. This serves to inspire my daughter and also gives Brit ideas for her own work! Brit clearly enjoys working with kids and seeing their wheels turn. On top of that, she is calm and patient. I'd enthusiastically recommend her to any parents looking for an art teacher for their kids."

"Julie did an excellent job of explaining how to use my new 35 mm camera. She patiently answered all my questions. It is obvious she enjoys working with ne

"Julie was able to focus (pun intended) on my specific photographic needs and interests--in this case with lessons in depth of field, composition/cropping,
lighting, and special effects (such as applying a brushstroke effect to make the result look more like a painting, or darkening the edges of a photo to better emphasize the center) for close-up subjects like leaves, flowers, and tree trunks, as well as landscapes. I learned so very much that I can apply to both my existing raw photos as well as my future photographic efforts. I am truly WOWED!"

"My son is a beginner in drawing and is a bit apprehensive about his drawing skills. I really appreciated and liked Margarita's approach, setting music to
create a relaxing atmosphere for drawing, explaining the steps, and the foundation for sketching. I think we approached drawing wrongly and after the lesson I changed our way. We play music now (which he likes) and he is drawing more often and is more relaxed."
