I've played alone and in ensembles for over 25 years. My lessons will start at your level. What do you want to accomplish? What music do you want to play? You'll learn the basics- bow control, intonation, vibrato, shifting positions. What you play with those skills is up to you- that's what makes music enjoyable!
*Note: at this time I am only taking on intermediate students, as I can only teach lessons online at this time due to the pandemic. I would consider anyone who has been playing for at least 1 year to be intermediate level.

I am an experienced music teacher with 10+ years of professional career behind me.
With my piano lessons I can help people who are just starting out on piano. I focus on having a good technique, learning the basics of reading, some different scales and the correct fingering for it and getting used to different musical styles.
I try to make the fundamental exercises more fun rather than boring "exercises". I like to work on technique and theory in a song context not by itself. But after we go over these fundamentals you will be able to learn songs that you like in no time.

If you consider doing a painting class, I highly recommend Roya Mansourkhani. She is an amazing painter and an encouraging teacher with a lot of patience. I learned loads of new techniques and created paintings I was pleased with."
Highly knowledgeable and very attentive to the student's needs."
Kids are actually exposed to various mediums. The really good part is you can also see older kids working on really good pieces of art, which is a very motivating for the younger ones. Personally Ms Maggie is very kind and gentle and a pleasure to know. I recommend any parent looking to enroll their kids into an art program to take them to her class and you WON'T regret it!"
So I can only recommend her most warmly!"
