Back to the "Bass"ics: learn classical or jazz upright bass with a profession bassist

My name is Zack and I play double bass! I have been playing and teaching the double bass for over a decade now. I am currently a full-time college student at CSU working on my bachelor of music degree in double bass performance. I perform regularly with the Fort Collins Symphony, Cheyenne Symphony, and Greeley Philharmonic. I also play regular jazz gigs in the Fort Collins area. I guest teach at numerous school districts as a sectional coach every school year, working at both the middle school and high school levels. In addition to professional musical experience, my private studio has demonstrated success in helping middle school, high school, and adult-level players achieve their musical goals. Several of my students have made the top honors orchestra at all levels. This is due to my unique background in double bass pedagogy. In that, I aim to build strong physical and mental tools that students can use to navigate any musical environment with confidence. I would love to help you reach your musical goals, so feel free to reach out with any questions! Thanks for your time. Zack
