Percussion with Zach D.

Hi, there! My name is Zach Desjarlais and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2015 and have loved helping my students achieve all of their goals in playing percussion. I went to Eastern Michigan University and earned a bachelor's of science degree in music in 2019. I specialize in teaching rudimental percussion and keyboard percussion such as soon as snare drum, tenor drums, bass drum, cymbals etc. For keyboards, there are Marimba, Vibraphone, and Xylophone. I have a wide range of marching drumline experience as well with groups such as Farmington United Percussion Ensemble, Motor City Percussion, Northcoast Academy Percussion Ensemble, and Redline Percussion for winter ensembles. For outdoor summer touring ensembles, I have performed with Legends, Colts, and Oregon Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps. I'm a very laid back person and my teaching style is very hands on, educational, and fun! I look forward to helping you reach all of your goals in the future!
