I am a professional artist and musician in Chattanooga, TN! I have been teaching art and music for six years in California and Tennessee. I have been painting since I was big enough to hold a paintbrush and playing the harp for over 15 years. I have a degree from Stanford University in Art Practice (Painting) and studied and performed under the tutelage of Marjorie Chauvel at Stanford University. My harp students can expect fun weekly lessons that go over basic harp technique, music theory, sight reading, and music history. Beyond that, all your lessons will be tailored to YOUR music goals. Do you want to learn to arrange covers of your favorite songs? Let's get to it! I supplement my lessons by teaching good habits for practicing, exercises and stretches to minimize muscle fatigue, and the basics of how to find performance opportunities to share your love of the harp with the world! My art students can expect similarly tailored lessons. I teach most forms of visual art from oil painting to sculpture to photography to drawing. Once we've talked about your goals and hopes and dreams as a new artist, we will work together to develop a skillset in creativity that will last a lifetime.
