Percussion is such a unique and fun experience! It is full of complexities and styles unlike any other instrument. Various aspects of percussion are tackled under my instruction, from mallet instruments to hand drums to theater set ups. Come join me in the fun that is percussion!!!

My name is Taylor Sims and I have been a percussionist/drummer for over 20 years. I have played for groups such as Pacific Symphony, the Teen Choice Awards, Key of Whiskey Irish band, and other small local groups. I currently teach in Orange County at two different schools and teach privately on the side. 
I love percussion and I love to teach.  Whether you are just starting out, or trying to improve pieces for auditions or ensembles, I am here to help. I can't wait to share my knowledge and expertise with you!

O....M....Goodness! This teacher is literally the BOMB. I came to her class because it was a requirement when I was in sixth grade., but I found myself choosing to take her class when I was in Jr. High.  She is so passionate in everything she does. I have been truly impressed.  I have learned so much these past couple years.  I think have learned more in one year with her then I have my whole entire life. I know.  CRAZY. She's just great.  LOVE U MS. SIMS!!!!

she's always super engaging and finds fun new ways to learn stuff. she also introduces the right amount of structure and discipline when we need it.

Best teacher ever!!!!!!!!! She totally helped me with every song I learned. She teaches in a way that makes learning new things not only fun, but AMAZING!!!!!
